I think we can all agree, Lomachenko won that fight by a wide margin

Loma fans even more deluded than I thought. He's a very good fighter but I wouldn't consider him anywhere near the ATG's he's constantly being compared with and last night proved that. I predicted a points win for Loma in a competitive bout but it was only really competitive from the 8th when Loma changed tactics and started taking more risks because he knew he was far behind. Still a clear 116-112 win for Lopez, props to Loma for not quitting and closing the gap between 8-11 but it was too little too late.

This fight wasn't a robbery but a comfortable win for Lopez. There's no conspiracy, Loma was beaten by the better guy and while this doesn't mean he's "exposed" due to all of his achievements it does prove that while being very good, he was overhyped.

Most unbiased fans would give 7-5 to Lopez.

Loma gave away the start of the fight, you can’t look at someone for 7 rounds and not throw anything.

I gave him all the rounds 8 onwards, although last round was close.

Yep. I thought Lopez edged the 12th but I can accept it as a swing slug fest round

Loma landed the cleaner shots for sure.

A draw would have been fair

Pretty Boy, are you considering the body punches Lopez landed? I mean they were very precise and clean. he was landing more than a few while Loma was not punching in the early rounds.

I wish the judges would categorize "swing rounds" the following way: So lets say you have six swing rounds, where either guy could win them... the conventional wisdom is to make a case for one guy... Scoring the round as a tie is considered a no no...Why not divide them? give them 3 a piece? I would have no problem calling them a tie... Just saying, if that is so abhorrent, and if the round could go to either guy...

Just a thought. A lot of the scoring contraversy seems to involve these rounds.

What fight were you guys watching? The last round was not close at all.

Lopez even looked on the verge of dropping Lomachenko when the ref stepped in and killed his momentum to check on the cut.

A similar thing happened in the Campbell vs Loma fight but in Loma's favor. All the judges gave the swing rounds to Loma and so the scorecards appeared very wide in his favor but the truth is that Campbell fight was very close until the championship rounds and even Bradley and Ward had it even on their scorecards until Round 9 or 10.

i scored it 10 rounds to 2 for lopez tbh.

he ducked berchelt for a reason.

what i saw last night confirms what i thought. berchelt puts him to sleep.
