Canelo is a prolific ducker! He just won the WBO title in a new division - so why vacate it less than 2 months later? He did it because he didn't want any sort of unification with Bivol or Beterbiev, that why!
At 154 he avoided Andrade and both Charlo's like the plague and didn't want to entertain the idea of a rematch with Lara - a fight which a high percentage of observers felt he lost.
At 160 hes clearly avoiding Andrade - saying someone is boring is the most pathetic excuse you can come up with, especially as its a unification bout for the same broadcaster. Suilaman made him WBC franchise champ to protect him from Jermall, he vacated the IBF to stay away from Dereyvenchenko and he stalled on the Golovkin trilogy - again despite both fighters being with the same broadcaster, probably because in fighting "Mexican Style" it was the hardest fight of his career and he was hurt on numerous occasions.
It remains to be seen what his antics will be like at 168 but essentially buying the WBA World belt of Fielding and pushing to fight Yildrim are not encouraging signs...
