Povetkin finished Whyte with a picture perfect left uppercut. The punch looked like it traveled about 8 inches, short and sweet! Povetkin's legs looked a bit suspect early on but the footwork involved in throwing the final punch was textbook.

The worst part of the fight was the commentary. British commentators are the worst and the most biased that I have ever heard. It was painful to listen to their circlej*rk and praises to Whyte but it was so satisfactory to hear them come with nothing but "I am at a loss for words" after the knockout. They were drooling after the knockdowns, although during the break between rounds 4 and 5 Povetkin told his corner that he was not hurt and you could see that he was ok. Then comes round 5 and BAM!

On a side note, that reporter chick has some fine legs. And that wind blowing was nice, too.
I was thinking same thing about commentators, horrible biased

This was just another cherrypick gone bad. After all, Dillian was a lot younger, bigger, faster and stronger than Sasha and he still got knocked out by him.

Eddie Hearn miscalculated and underestimated Sasha. They only took the fight because they thought Povetkin was both old and washed up.

This fight proves that Whyte was a just your typical hype job all along. He shouldn't have never been mentioned in the same category as Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua. He has proven that he is not on their level.

At least he still has manufactured champ Katie Taylor
I thought Katie was going to be special but after seeing her last two fights sh's pretty average? Same with Conlan.

Not at all, the Whyte vs Povetkin rematch will make Eddie some good money, Whyte will win the rematch and the fight with the Fury/Joshua will be back on, Fast Eddie always seems to turn a loss into a win.

With all that being said, I would bet heavily on Whyte winning the rematch

I have Luis Ortiz and Ruiz ranked higher. Heck add Pedvetkin above him.
