[QUOTE=Sadiqkingofko;20720350]I'm kinda shocked, Whyte had it in the bag

Povetkin should never be underestimated....he is always a threat, people keep talking about his age, he is still very skilled and powerful even at his age.

Povetkins legs didn't look good either and he was still able to posterize D-Bol someone was going back and forth with me about Povetkin and Whyte when I said I was hoping Povetkin could knock him out also that his best chance to do so was in the early half of the fight and there you go it happened he should really retire though on a high note but he still has power and his last 2 performances werent terrible he got rid of Whyte for now hopefully they don't go forward with the rematch clause which should be voided when you get knocked out cold.

The worst part of the fight was the commentary. British commentators are the worst and the most biased that I have ever heard. It was painful to listen to their circlej*rk and praises to Whyte but it was so satisfactory to hear them come with nothing but "I am at a loss for words" after the knockout. They were drooling after the knockdowns, although during the break between rounds 4 and 5 Povetkin told his corner that he was not hurt and you could see that he was ok. Then comes round 5 and BAM!

On a side note, that reporter chick has some fine legs. And that wind blowing was nice, too.
Totally agree with you they were extremely bias every time Povetkin would land they wouldn't even say anything but if Dillian landed 2 jabs he was boxing beautifully.

Good post apart from the legs

There have been many hype jobs like Whyte before. The American Joe Mesi comes to mind. Always satisfying to see them exposed before they BS their way into an undeserved title shot

And that\s shy they fight and fights aren't won on paper. I think Wilder KO's both. Both get hit pretty easy.

I still can't believe they actually paid to fight for that FAKE WBC Belt...

That's true but he looked awfully vulnerable in there against Whyte. He looked old, weak and slow. It looked like Whyte could have ended the fight anytime he wanted after dropping him two times in one round.

However, Whyte simply decided that he was going to carry Sasha which was a huge mistake and paid a heavy cost for it. You can't carry an old cagey and experienced veteran like Alexander Povetkin or you risk getting hurt and he did.
