Keith Thurman Asked For 10 Million Dollars To Fight Terence Crawford

This is Crawford’s dilemma.
The fighters that would give him a resume to match his P4P status have all had bigger fights than him draw wise.
Thurman has been in with Pac and his been a top WW for a while.
He’s not going to take short money plus an L.
Crawford is the better fighter but not necessarily a bigger draw. What did his fight with Khan do PPV wise?
Plus the fights he needs aren’t Top Rank fighters so it makes it more difficult to make a cross promotion deal with neither guy bringing a big fan base to the table.
Crawford needs to accept that the fights he needs right now at his age aren’t one’s he can impose A side status on.

I don't want that fight neither. If Crawford can't secure the Pac fight then he should move up and fight Patrick Teixeira for the WBO 154 title. If Brook was about **** he would have tried to fight for a 154 title. Brook didn't even want to fight Jeff Horn at 154. If Crawford beats Teixeira then he can decide if he wants to stay at 54 or go back down to 47.

I don’t mind the Texeira fight, I wouldn’t be opposed to see him face an undefeated contender like Bes***** or Abdukakhorov either if he can’t get one of the PBC guys.

& I thought pricing yourself out was a form of ducking? They said Thurman is asking for a lot. Which doesn't seem hard to believe. Thurman has been acting different since 2017. Didn't he admit he lost hunger recently after ppl had long suspected that? Why are people now taking him at face value? & let's add one more thing.. Although I personally thought he beat Pacquiao, ppl doggggggg Keith for losing to him. His stock has not raised since that fight & up until recently I haven't been hearing his name at all for damn near the whole pandemic...With that said I do not agree with Bomac dismissing Keith as an opponent because he's still a top name.

They overpaid Khan iirc & the world wasn't in the current state it's in now. I read Keith got 8 for Pacquiao which is a fight he lost & his name isn't that hot right now + again the state the world is in. Also there is no live gate. So subtract all that I just mentioned from 8 mill. Plus whatever else would normally be included like merch etc. Is Keith worth the 5 he's asking for? He can tell you better than I can but I certainly wouldn't argue that he is, at this time. I can't fault Bob for not being 100% certain he wouldn't lose money & I can't fault Terence for not fighting for anything less than he's contractually obligated too.

These guys from PBC want more from ESPN then they get paid from there own network. Here is a good question, How much is Porter being paid to fight Formella? You will never find out the answer, zero transparency. Ask yourself why. Same for Ugas next fight, you will never find out his purse. Did Floyd, Oscar, Tyson, Cotto, Crawford, Lewis, and many more ever hide their purses? I can tell tell you Crawford's purses for his last four fights because he isn't embarrassed about the amount and has zero to hide.
