He didn't get 7 he got 5. What Khan had to offer is a big name overseas and PPV through BT Sport which is the British face of ESPN.

Apart from a glass chin and an easy win.... Decent amount of fans..

Keef seems to be the one calling the shots, yet Crawford is the big gun here.. I'm not a great fan of both and I think Keef could do a number if he plays it right.. still don't see why Crawford would/should play to his tune..

Tbh, I don't see the fight happening any time soon..

Thurman really wants $5 or $6, $10 is just his avenue to get what he wants.

        Will he get it? No.

I have no reason to believe Buds trainer, he probably has no idea what went on with the brief negotiations. I think he's just saving face here.

I just hope we don’t end up with Crawford vs Brook...

I don't want that fight neither. If Crawford can't secure the Pac fight then he should move up and fight Patrick Teixeira for the WBO 154 title. If Brook was about **** he would have tried to fight for a 154 title. Brook didn't even want to fight Jeff Horn at 154. If Crawford beats Teixeira then he can decide if he wants to stay at 54 or go back down to 47.

My thing is, how much NEGOTIATING was really done???

Like with any negotiation it starts with an offer, one party may not agree but you WORK towards a middle ground. Was this just one phone call and that's it?

I recall Loma and his team pressing Bob to make the Rigo fight when Bob wanted nothing to do with it but ultimately Bob (being he WORKS for Loma) got it done. What exactly did Bo Mac (is he Bud's only representation??) counter with And how can he not look at the landscape and think there's still a chance for a Pacquiao fight and or picking Brook over Thurman??

Just like with everything, the truth will eventually reveal itself but on the surface it seems like Team Crawford / Top Rank already have "plans" that chances are NONE of us are going to like.

Who else is there for him? Pac is obviously not fighting this year. Collazo is available. There's also Alvarado. If Brook is such a horrible fight for you.

                      This is Crawford’s dilemma.
The fighters that would give him a resume to match his P4P status have all had bigger fights than him draw wise.
Thurman has been in with Pac and his been a top WW for a while.
He’s not going to take short money plus an L.
Crawford is the better fighter but not necessarily a bigger draw. What did his fight with Khan do PPV wise?
Plus the fights he needs aren’t Top Rank fighters so it makes it more difficult to make a cross promotion deal with neither guy bringing a big fan base to the table.
Crawford needs to accept that the fights he needs right now at his age aren’t one’s he can impose A side status on.
