Every god damn time there's a boxing event that threatens to eclipse Mayweather's profile at the time, he has to make some kind of effort to upstage or sabotage it. Even long after he's retired he continues to try to do it. I think this whole affair is a farce and that the idea of high-profile exhibition bouts in this day and age are pretty ******, but regardless Floyd trying to pretend that he somehow invented them or made them popular when they're an idea that's older than time itself at this point.

You would think people would know Floyds ego by now, hard to get to his level without one but if you watch the full interview its nowhere near as vindictive a comment in that interview as it is when taken out of context, seems to be a lot of angry people that jump to conclusions very quickly.
The Mayweather narrative gains every interviewer a lot of views, Floyd being a great fighter is also an extremely poor communicator, taking a step back and watching how it all works is an enlightening look at people.

Its not like Ali and Foreman never did it. I guess they didn't fleece the gullible public for it in those days, but that's like everything else. Nothing to be proud of in those jokes with McGregor and hes names gone out of my head. But anyway..

TBE is insecure, need work in this.
Floyd Mayweather make good money in practically 8 digits
in exhibition match, but Muhammad Ali exhibition was the one that transcend time and Floyd use it to make more money. The Greats are rolling in their grave for Mayweather Jr. taking credit in that, shame.
