I would say he’s been a cherry picker for over 10 years. As for why he’s still fighting. Even the Bobfather came out and said Manny owes the IRS a lot of money which is crazy considering how many big fights he’s had. He must really have a lot of people stealing his money and I’m inclined to believe Bob on that because he’s always been very complimentary of him. It’s sad really and I’m not even a Pacquiao fan.

We all know whoever gets the call to fight Manny is boxing's way of winning the jackpot. In the sweepstakes there were more inferior fighters, Thurman 2 Mikey g Danny g but dang Manny has to call out the best in the division! Pound for pound bud is the number 1 guy. Manny has basically completed boxing, he’s financially secured, his legacy is secured etc. I genuinely believe he is continuing purely because he enjoys it.

I’d have no problem with seeing him go and get an easy payday against Khan in the Middle East but as I say I don’t think it’s in his nature, he’ll want to continue fighting the best.

Manny has been cherrpicking ever since he's been at welterweight. Thats why he's never been lineal or beaten the #1 guy in the division until he fought for the vacant lineal title in 2016 once floyd retired.

• Fought Cotto only one year removed from being stopped by Marg. Mosley was the real welterweight champion at the time but pac didn't want it
• Fought Clottey coming off a loss, and ducked foyd by backing out of the fight.
• Fought Margarito who was coming off a terrible performance and 1 fight removed from getting KO'd by Mosley. Wasn't a champion at the time he fought pac
• Fought Mosley coming off a two fight winless streak
• Fought Marquez at welterweight and robbed him in the process
• Fought bum ass algeri
• Was finally willing to fight Floyd after floyd had two tough fights with Maidana
• Fought paper champ jessie vargas
• Horn was a cherrypick gone wrong
• Fought Broner coming off of 2 fight winless streak

Exactly. Can you imagine the backlash if Mayweather fought Margarito instead of Shane after Mosley destroyed him? Lol people would’ve been up in arms. Pac fought Morales after Raheem, Cotto, Mosley, Hatton, Marquez and others after they got dominated and pretty much nobody cared. Further proof that racism still exists and some guys get a pass for everything while others get **** for everything. Could you imagine if Joshua faced Wilder right after Fury stopped him? Or if Andre Ward fought the kind of guys GGG got away with fighting and fought guys 2 divisions below him but refused to go up even 1 division to face the p4p king at the time? They would say he was scared of the top guys, but when GGG fought no names for years then refused to move up and face Ward they made excuses for him and said he was fighting the only guys who would fight him (which was obviously and clearly not true).

The amount of crap these guys would get would be non stop. Manny got away with this over and over and over again. They didn’t care. And that’s just the fights that were pre 2012.
