Toney picked this fight knowing it will be an easy win. First of all Toney is the absolute master of watching weight shift and moving out of the way of where he assumes it's coming from, from watching the weight shift. Peter takes forever to load up and throw his big punches, now unless Peter digs to Toney's body early on successfully, it will be an easy night for Toney. Expect to see Sam Peter's left eye swollen up like a tennis ball from Toney's counter overhand right, but then again if Peter can do some good bodywork early and like I said, slow down the under trained Toney, ...who ****in knows, I'm never bettin on Toney again after what he did vs Rahman tho, I'll tell you that. I lost 200 bucks on his fat ass...! I love how people continually pick Toney to get a 'late stoppage' or a stoppage of any kind in his fights at heavyweight. **** ain't happening. There is no basis in reality to predict it.

In what now promises to be one of the most fiery battles of the year so far, the two will meet on September 2 in a WBC title eliminator at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA on Showtime Championship Boxing

After a peaceful beginning to the conference call, 25 year-old Peter 26-1 (22) quickly enraged 37 year-old Toney 69-4-3 (43) when stating his plan of attack.

"I'm going to walk through him," said Peter, bluntly.

"Oh, I like that," replied Toney. "Keep your promise!"

"James Toney is a good fighter," continued Peter, "but I'm going to walk through him. You are not going to stop me. I saw a lot of things that (Hasim) Rahman was not able to do as a heavyweight. But for me. I will really go to war on his body."

When SecondsOut Radio's Eddie Goldman asked both men for predictions, James Toney quickly jumped in with a reply.

"I'm going to knock him out," declared Toney, as Peter laughed heartily. "I'm knocking him out. I'm knocking him out. You are getting knocked out. I promise you."

I have fought the best. For me, there is no damn strategy. There is just me being me. Forget about all the dog **** he is talking about.

....IMO Toney got punked in that exchange. Peter was laughing at him. I hope Peter knocks him out and then pisses on his face to wake him up.

Ha ha! I bet the Toney fans on the forum thought Toney won this verbal exchange because he called Peter a "punk *****" and a "telephone talk *****" a half dozen times each. Just as he wins rounds by stumbling around after getting hit in an attempt to goad an opponent in, Toney can win a debate in these fans's eyes by excessive use of the word *****.
