AJ has beaten Wlad and 2 undefeated world title holders in Martin and Parker.
Fury's win over Wlad tops AJ's, but Parker was/is at least as good as Wilder. I would say significantly better .. better boxer, better chin, doesn't fall apart mentally under pressure, like Wilder.
Resume wise, Fury and AJ are 50/50.

Styles make fights, and I could see Dillian putting the fear of the devil into Wilder pre fight.

Let's break it down:
If you give AJ credit for Whyte...you have to give Fury credit for Chisora...Fury has 2 wins over DelBoy, but if people want to say Whyte is a bit better, fine...call it a wash there
They both have Wlad, Fury's a bit more impressive since he did it first and on the road...AJ stopped Wlad but still have to give slight edge to Fury.
No one really knows how good Ruiz is...I think the loss to him looks pretty bad for AJ, but let's just call it a wash and not consider that 2 fight experience.
Fury has an in-form Hammer...AJ a 40 year-old Povetkin...call that a wash.
Fury has the 2 fights with Wilder...which as a pair are much better performances than AJ's wins over Parker and Takam imo...decent edge overall to Fury.
AJ has Molina, Breazeale and Martin...those are probably better than Fury's wins over Wallin, Cunningham and a few of those other guys.
I don't think their resumes are as far off as some may say...never really looked at it in detail until just now...but yeah not sure how some will look at that and say AJ's is so great and Fury's is way off...very similar overall yet different too in some ways.

Originally posted by kafkod View PostHeight and reach are not what I'm talking about, they only matter at long range, and Whyte wouldn't fight Wilder at long range. Whyte is 40lb+ heavier than Wilder and much stronger. He is also a naturally aggressive and belligerent guy. There's a reason why Wilder and his team wanted no part of Dillian.
In any event I really hope Wilder gets to face AJ and Whyte...I know he KOs at least one of them and probably both imo...would love to see what people say after that.
Though they will probably refuse the humble pie and double down - 'Wilder still sucks he just got lucky' lol
