That was only if the PPV did well would he get upside in addition to his guarantee. But the PPV lost money so he gets nothing else. And because the popular opinion that he lost the first fight, then lost every round in a brutal beating the second fight the 3rd fight will do worse financially because there is no question who the better fighter is. Also the contract said loser gets 40% winner get 60% in a 3rd fight that will have a smaller pot. The step aside means he would get 2 checks money to step aside and then a fight against fury or Joshua after they are done. It also gives him time to recover and build up his confidence which is shattered.

He is still walking out with a big 10 digit check regardless & no way he gets that stepping aside. He has a puncher’s chance. There is no guarantee he gets the winner if he steps aside but he is getting that big 40% check if he exercises the rematch clause.

He is already working on that but who is to say that would prevent Fury from fighting dirty again? Like tripping him, head locking and punching to the body in the clinches, leaning on the back of his head, while trying to wear him down by sapping all of his energy and strength from him. Mate you have never met Wilder, I happen to know Joshua. Not to the degree that you say my name to him and he says” oh yeah Noel he is a friend”Just if he saw my face he will say “ yeah I know that guy he was swearing on the roulette table at my casino and they nearly threw him out” Anyway this is boxing and their careers are their journeys. Jack Reiss is the worst. He gave Fury a full 20 seconds to recover. Go back an look. After Fury got up, Reiss, as he always does, told Fury to "walk over there" and "now walk back here" Why? I also hate refs who, after a fighter is knocked down and gets up, spends 10 seconds asking if the fighter is ok.
Again, why? He either is or is not. It's simply not fair to the fighter that much more time to recover.

It's like the ****** mandatory eight count -- a fight suffers a flash knockdown and gets up immediately but the ref still has to count to eight.

Disagree Reiss is the man , I don’t have a problem with him assessing the situation after a KD

It gives him the opportunity to make the right decision , He made the right call with Fury even though every other Ref would have stopped the fight

He made the right decision when he stopped Victor Ortiz against Berto , Most refs would have let Ortiz continue because he beat the count but Reiss saw the b.itch in his eyes and that he didn’t want it so he made the right call and ended it.

The extra seconds it takes to make the right call is a better strategy then having the mindset of he beat the count let the fight go on and let the fighter take more punishment and get blasted out 15 seconds later

The one Major F.uck up Reiss did in the Wikder / Fury fight that no one talks about is when Tyson came back to life and jumped up at 6 it caught Reiss so off guard he fu.cked up his count and depending the timing and rhythm of his Count there’s a real possibility Fury would still have been in the process of getting up when Reiss had reached 10
