Same here, I like the both of them. I’m a big Fury than though, I always thought there was something special about him and that’s going back to the amateur’s. We all know Wilder’s flaws but he’s still an incredibly dangerous fighter, personally I only think Fury beats him out of the current crop of HW’s, and I genuinely believe Fury is the best HW since Lennox, so no shame in losing to him.

At least I think anyone will agree, that intimidation factor of Tyson would not play a role in this matchup. Fury is not the type to be intimidated in the slightest.

Any world class HW who stood up to Mike beat him.

Journeyman Douglas was the first man who ever went in with no fear, and he knocked Mike out.

Pretty much all the people he knocked out were beaten before they got in the ring with him.

I cant pick against Mike, but in truth its such a freakshow of a stylistic match up that its hard to even visualise it. They never fought anyone remotely resembling each other. I dont think Mike could even reach to punch Fury in the face while Fury trying to punch that far down against someone with Mikes defensive style, speed and head movement would be a spectacle too.

If Fury had Mike's mental strength and Mike and Fury's mental strength. Mike would win.

Fury's mental game is up there with Ali's

Here we go again with this BS.........

Michael Spinks was a world class HW who fought in the division multiple times before getting iced.

Larry Holmes was also world class. He went 12 rounds with PRIME Evander 4 years after being knocked out cold by Mike.

Bruno and Ruddock were also world class.

Fury has so much self belief, I think that’s probably his greatest strength in terms of his mentality.

Manny Steward actually compared him to Ali in that infamous interview in 2012, where he basically predicts exactly how the HW landscape would unfold.

It is a weird one to imagine... was thinking that myself. There’s basically an entire foot between them in size.

I’d argue Spinks was a world class fighter but not a world class HW. Still a good win though.

Holmes was past his prime, he was still decent but was nowhere near an elite fighter. He was inactive and in decline, it’s comparable to AJ beating Wlad IMO.

Bruno and Ruddock are underrated wins, I agree with that, but neither were world class IMO. Bruno maybe, certainly not Ruddock.
