Comments Thread For: Arum: Joshua's Not An Elite Fighter; Will Fight Rest Of His Career Scared

LAS VEGAS It went as you might imagine when Bob Arum was informed Wednesday that Eddie Hearn claimed recently that Anthony Joshua, not the winner of the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury rematch, should be recognized as the top heavyweight in the division.

Arum is right here on the fighting scared part. I doubt Joshua fights either guy unless it’s somewhere we he can use PEDs to gain confidence because he has to be terrified of getting knocked out again. Especially in against Deontay.

    Hope I’m wrong though.

This is like Khan-Brook. I never thought Brook was a lock to beat Khan but Khan seemed scared to death of Brook. I don't see Wilder as a lock to beat Joshua but Joshua seems scared to death of Wilder.

First time I have agreed with Arum. I honestly believe the PEDs have took a toll on his body and I also believe the Ruiz KO ruined his confidence. He looked like a scared adolescent when he refused to come out his corner. I hope I’m wrong though.

Bob is usually full of Sh**, but on this subject, he's keeping it 100%. Joshua will keep barking from the U.K, claiming no one wants to fight him. Reality is, he doesn't want to leave the U.K and always wants that home field advantage so the judges and refs could protect him there.

Oh my goodness, I'm actually agreeing with Arum on something again. This is going to rile up a lot of AJ fans.

Joshua needs to let his sack drop and come back across the pond to fight in America. Lennox Lewis wasnt scared of an American crowd why is he. Over there he may be a champion but in my opinion Joshua and Wilder both need to fight all over the world to be world champions

Joshua got traumatized by a replacement level fighter. He sees Ruiz's sweaty stomach folds in his nightmares

Lol at this. All this says is that all these other dudes(promoters & fighters alike) are jealous that AJ is the cash cow of the division & moves as he pleases just like Canelo. Everybody else raises their hands & waits on him to choose who gets blessed next. Wonder who is elite up there if he isn't.

Eddie was being an idiot with what he said and so is Arum. If Joshua isnt an elite fighter maybe Fury should be coming after the belts and spotlight that AJ stole from him while he went on a 3 year ******* and KFC binge. And when it comes to the "fighting scared" talk, its like people forgot that Joshua actually fought a similar fight against Parker but then after that was KO'ing Povetkin. Theres next to no chance he takes the Ruiz 2 approach if he fights Usyk or Pulev. Styles make fights.
