Shane was only partially right about conditioning. Primary was Floyd's skills; ability to take away your best weapons and frustrate you and then dominate. Conditioning was secondary.

Going in Money May knew that Conor McGregor was a novice with no professional boxing experience. That's why he fought the way he did.

It's because he knew that McGregor was a harmless opponent who didn't pose any serious threat or challenge to him.

They all say that when they look terrible. Apparently DLH was drained before Pac fight so DLH dont look too bad historically. He may have not been at best but it was more to do with how good Pac was.

DLH was drained. It was a big issue when he didn't rehydrate at all.
He had all those IV's and still only gained two pounds after the weigh in.

Pac was good, but there is no way anyone can tell me DLH wasn't completely messed up before that fight.

Yeah. Floyd said "he didn't really train", which I believe. He didn't train for Conor as he usually would for a legitimate professional opponent. Floyd "barely training" would be the equivalent of a regular person going hard for 3 hours.

To me it looked like Floyd did what was required training wise, but Conor was outboxing Floyd until he gassed.

So was Conor outboxing Floyd until he gassed, or was Floyd carrying him for 10 rounds? Which set of excuses apply here.

We seen guys like Roy Jones and Mike Tyson, completely obliterate guys within two or three rounds who didn't belong in the ring with them. Like the way Floyd obliterated that 120 Japanese kickboxer.

Legitimate professional opponent? I thought this victory went on Floyd's official ring record as a win. So why would Floyd be cool with padding his ring record with these fights where he barely trains and the opponent is a non boxer unless he is just straight cherrypicking.

He took it seriously. There was over $300m on the line. Why would he break the habit of a lifetime and not suddenly take it seriously anymore?

Maybe he didn't train at the same intensity as before but he definately trained hard. He probably eased up on the sparring though, if his reflexes were not sharp as before then he wouldn't be able to afford risking a cut or getting damage in the buildup.

He didn’t look good in that fight. Of course he was still going to win, it’s like taking a math genius who has been retired and putting him against an actively working philosopher in a quiz debate about math. The math guy will still win no matter how rusty he is.

Floyd won by KO. Yes it did go on his professional record as a win. He made the fight because it paid him well over $150 million.

Well, one thing is for sure and what I can admit to is that Money May was in excellent shape for the fight. However and unfortunately, as had most experts predicted; What we all witnessed was a circus.

It was just your protypical bullshit fight. Mayweather was under lot of pressure to actually fight this time following that Pac debacle where he fought a very cautious and safety first fight. So he had give the fans their money's worth.

Had Floyd fought his normal fight he would have shut Conor McGregor out en route to a 12-0 unanimous decision victory. He had to give the fans a show and he delivered. He was forced to carry McGregor because he knew was not a real boxer and he didn't want to hurt him.
