my wife and I ..plus jhonny do not want to see murata get smashed... he is a japanese champion. not a world champion.. i do not care what belt he has.. he is not that great.. but here in japan.... he is our guy... i am not japanese.. i am mexican.. my kids are half japanese... they are bigger. stronger and in many ways.. it is unfair..

anyway... i hope canelo fights someone else.. bjs would get smashed fast too.. i think bjs vs murata is a fair fight.

Same. Murata's a decent fighter... IDK what the eff happened in that first Brand fight but he rectified that straight away and what more can you ask from a dude? Do I expect him to win? No, but it doesn't mean it ain't a fight worth making and more especially I'll be glad to see Canelo on the road if it happens in Japan.

Just so long as I don't wake up and the fight is already over like most the fights over there

I'm in the UK, man. The US is anywhere between about 5 and 7 hours behind us. Means that if I wanna catch an East Coast fight in the US I'll maybe just about be in bed for 5 of the a.m, West Coast it's more like 7.... being a hardcore fan in the UK basically means losing a nights sleep most weeks though I gotta admit I don't keep up the pace I used to and normally just play catch up Sunday a.m these days.

The Japanese cards on the other hand usually work out around midday or so which I can usually figure in to my day somehow, even on a weekday.

Its logical to take a easy fight.... Even though Sergey was a kinda a cherry pick, but it was still a big risk. So he deserves a easy fight, remember he fought Danny Jacobs before that
