He probably should have, but I also think tank should have taken the 5mil for a one off title unification fight. Why not?

Because Tank is being built up. I don’t know what Tanks offer was for the Showtime fight but if Farmer was getting 2 than Tanks offer had to of been massive. Haymon and Ellerbe don’t believe in the DAZN model. As Ellerbe said DAZN is where fighters go to die.

Nobody was asking him to sign some type of long term contract. It was one fight that they obviously thought was good enough to be on their network. He could have been a unified champion and had a decent scalp on his resume...not to mention a career high payday up until that point. It seems to me, the only real risk was losing the fight.

Maybe not compared to your hero Anthony Joshua, but in the grand scheme of things, they're bigger draws than 99% of the boxers on the planet. If the undercard is decent, I think Tank vs Santa Cruz can do at least 150-200 thousand on PPV.

I don’t disagree with that but I’m not running Mayweather Promotions.

How much is LSC doing gate-wise these days? If he's doing more than Tank it should be him, but I feel like his star has been dimming & was never as big as Tank's light.

I'm willing to bet it does triple that. FOX PPV is the best in the biz.

                  The undercard will sell too.

Can't find an official source on it, so it's just my anecdotal evidence of being there myselv...LSC-Mares almost sold out Staples, bar a few hundred tickets. It was the highest rated fight on ESPN in almost two decades is what I can remember. It still has to be one of the most successful PBC fights they've put together in terms of promotion. LSC-Davis at Staples will be a hot ticket I think. Anywhere else, it's not as good...so it elevates Leo's position in this case imo

I think you're seriously overestimating your hero's drawing power. Hope I'm wrong, Davis is gonna butcher Santa Cruz.
