Here's the other thing. Manny, despite having a belt, had to go through both Broner and Vargas to get a shot at Keef. He didn't get to leapfrog the line either. And resume-wise Manny is right behind Carnelo at the top.
So why would a guy who has a worse resume than two of the guys he beat and was fresh off a terrible PPV turnout and a low blow, get to fight the top guy (Spence with TWO belts) fresh out the gate?Comment

And for those select few STILL defending Crawford. LISTEN. TO. THE. AUDIO. Crawford clearly says he has not tried to reach Porter for a fight and isn't interested - this is WEEKS after he said he wants the top guys, "nothing he can do" etc. There's something he COULD do - accept a fight against a credible opponent - but chooses not to. That's a DUCK. He's afraid Porter beats him and ruins his chance at a Spence fight.
Sitting talking about "he wants Spence!" I'm sure Teofimo wants the top guy too. You have to EARN IT. And no, faulty 'eye test' claims of P4P don't earn it. He needs to step up and fight someone credible - there's someone credible right in his face and in a RARE situation, both Arum and Haymon support it. I don't accept anything else out of him. Talking about wanting to fight old Manny in a cashout or fighting Spence fresh off a significantly damaging car wreck.
Dude is a joke and I'll say that until I see him do the right thing and fight THREATS to EARN a Spence fight likely in Winter 2020 after Spence has had a get-back and healed somewhat; assuming Crawford can get past said threat without an asterisk.Comment
