Yea I watched the entire card bud..

But You've clearly never seen Ali fight.. or you're not knowledge enough of the intricacies of boxing to be able to digest and differentiate what you're seeing..

"Oh he's jabbing and retreating, HE LOOKS LIKE ALI!"... lmao

The statement is the immediate rematch and the win, no?

Also, I need to say this..there is also a lesson for Wilder from this match.

You keep losing rounds hoping your one punch is going to put your opponent to sleep, it will happen most of the time. But sooner or later there will come one fight where the opponent is smart enough to fight perfectly for 12 rounds...and you will lose that fight badly.

I don't know what Ruiz was thinking about losing those rounds and not taking his chances. Thinking that AJ will tire after the 6th round and they will get him. Well, he didn't because he was lighter. Had Ruiz put the pressure, even by taking a bigger risk, the outcome would have been different or at least a closer call.

People saying AJ did what he had to do to get the W, I dont dispute that. Get the W

Its just HILARIOUS that Ruiz made him have to fight like that. I was laughing throughout the fight, this short fat guy has a spartan adonis looking man running around fighting scared. Jab, jab, run, hold, jab, jab, run. Ruiz looked terrible, im sure AJ could have iced him, but he just looked a deer in headlights whenever Ruiz even got close LOL. Fun fight to look at

I dont see AJ fighting Wilder, ever. AJ's next three fights are Ruiz trilogy, Whyte, and Hunter, in that order to build up a Ortiz fight

I dont think he "imposed" the style he wanted.. he wanted to run through him but couldn't... he was left to settle with winning a snoozefest while attempting not to engage.
You think that style of fight was what Ruiz wanted?

Mate, sometimes you just have to accept that it wasn't close.

Tbh, he fought the fight he needed to especially 6 months ago, going down 4 times, that can mentally scar someone, but AJ went off worked on what went wrong and totally schooled Ruiz tonight, and done it without ever looking in danger, also at same time you have to realise in fight 1 he was preparing for Miller, now he had time to prepare for Ruiz and absolutely schooled Snickers

Said with such authority. And yet so very, very wrong.

Cant really be mad at ruiz, AJ has physical advantages that if he exploits (like he did tonite but didnt in the first fight) he gives himself a near guaranteed shot at winning.

He is significantly taller and longer, significantly more fleet of foot, and they are in a very big ring. All he has to do is jab and move, and when ruiz gets close just hold. As long as he can clinch what can ruiz physically do?

Composed, focused performance by AJ. You could see at times he wanted to exchange with Ruiz but stuck to boxing and easily won. Ruiz will always struggle against that style but putting on all that weight and slowly plodding along and following AJ around, it was going to be a rough night for him. I do not want to see a third fight between these two.
