Clear but couldn't get his right hand from under his thigh/butt for 5 seconds. Wow. Good thing some of y'all don't need observation in your profession.

Nevermind he looked at the ref like "who are you?" and around the ring like "where am I?

    You 'thought' he was clear.

Some take longer.. then extra time to ask them to move a bit, walk to them .. shake their gloves .. etc. None of that with Bayless who counted quickly. Now ... I think with the drama we've had recently, 2 fighters dying, refs may be quicker to stop it. But Ortiz had taken almost no punishment at all... and had he the chance to get back to the corner, probably could have continued. But we'll never know..
The official timekeep at ringside coordinates the count (the ref is usually abit busy). The timekeeper is watching a clock/watch. The ref picks up the count from the timekeeper when he is free to check with him.

      This your first fight?

He never said 10, you're out.

It not a conspiracy, it just want happened.

And if you look at the Wilder corner, when Ortiz is dropped they screaming for Bayless to wave it off.
The timekeeper counted 10 at ringside. At that second the ref was lookig at Ortiz "condition". He immediately could see Ortiz was not clear and able to continue.

Same as in hundreds of fights.

But y'all gotta hate when Wilder is involved. "The count was early".

Wjhere are all you experts at when they are trying to hire refs and timekeepers for these fights?

Your mom or wife must be the shill.

A good ref on their job MIGHT look at a fighter after a tough round and 'examine' him tobe sure he's ok to continue. Happens hundreds of times, it's called doing a good job.

If either fighter gets a 'benefit' from that, oh well. As I said, it's happened hundreds of times in boxing history and is acceptable practice for referees. It's a non-issue to fans and fighters alike.

          Fan-girls is a different story.

Hmmm... So you're telling me the timekeeper counts every second and calls them out to the ref?

Did you read my comment? Can you read? Didi you have an IPP as a kid? (here, let me make that easy for you.. An IPP is created for all students identified as having special education needs. ... )
