Not to mention Zab three a haymaker at Uncle Roger, and nobody said shizz. All the while, Floyd chilled in the corner like a boss.

The ability of cultivating his fan base was the main Soobjective in his career.

He even stated this several times.

"It not about fighting the best, it is about making smart choices to move you up to the next level"

If you don't think I am right name me another boxer who did better with growing their fanbase, with mostly stuff outside the ring.

This also gave him greater negotiation power and the ability to always have advantages even before the first bell was rung.
Well Floyd beat Manny yet you are calling Manny a cherry pick??? how does that work?

my bad it was Steele..but zab countered floyd in the 2nd round and Floyd's stumbled back and his glove touched the canvas...steele ruled it a slip and it wasnt...time out doesnt mean you can climb in the ring a complain about a low blow

After 6 years of ducking, when Pacquiao was past his prime and lost two including a heavy KO.

Floyd only got away with that ducking because of the fanbase he worked so hard to cultivate.

Joey Maxim beat SRR but ranked higher?

Floyd could have made $250 million by fighting Pacquiao in a rematch, but instead decided to take $32 million by fighting Berto.

Floyd himself will be most proud about how he ran his career rather than the boxing.

1-So Floyd was prime at 38??

2-why did he need to rematch Manny?? he won a wide decision...

3-Didnt Manny just beat Thurman?? so why act like he was shot when Floyd beat him 4 years ago?

This is the greatest fighter we will ever see. I'd like to see one fighter in history cherrypick opponents of similar circumstances, and walk them down without being touched.

Floyd was 37yrs old and 150lbs. Canelo was 23yrs old and 165lbs. Floyd walked that man down and laughed in his face. Imagine SRL at similar circumstances, he would lose his life. Even in his prime, an opponent of similar size advantage would be basically a 50/50 fight for him. Floyd old as dirt, it was a mismatch.

You need to be appreciative of what you witnessed, opposed to acting like it was ordinary or not special. This man's legacy is so abnormal and unreal, that it completely shyts on anything we have ever seen in history or WILL EVER see.

And I like seeing Pac batter guys like Cotto, but everyone else he was facing at the higher weight class were irrellevent at the time he faced them. Floyd was literally whitewashing guys who fought their way into the top 3 of the division at the time he faced them.

Pac would just get a random 135lber who hadnt proved himself, pull em up in weight and fight them.

Or Margarita and Mosley who werent doing anything special at the time he faced them.

Wake up and show respect for the sport you love.

                      1) Irrelevant, Pacquiao wasn't.

                      2) Why did he need to fight Berto.
Floyd did very little in that fight, hardly landed any clean hard punches

                      3) Never said Pacquiao was shot, but he was clearly past his prime, and he was on the decline ever since the Margarito fight.
