    BETTING ODDS:

    Smith: -1600 Ryder +800 (x3 on Ryder)
    Nery: -450 Rodriguez: +330 Cancelled
    Wilder: -650 Ortiz:+450 (x3 on Ortiz)
    Cancio: -1600 Alvarado:+800 (x3 on Alvarado)


    Ways fighters can win:
    Decision: WIDE or CLOSE
    KO: EARLY (1-4), MID (5-8) or LATE (9-12)

    Examples of the ways you can state your decision:

    PICK EM CREW, Ryder, KO, mid x3
    PICK EM CREW, ORTIZ, DEC, WIDE
    If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)
    If you wish to pick a Draw result, simply state your Username, both fighter names and DRAW, ie:

    PICK EM CREW, Cancio, Alvarado, DRAW
    IMPORTANT NOTE: NONE OF THE WBSS FIGHTS CAN BE SCORED A DRAW - ONE FIGHTER WILL ALWAYS BE DECLARED A WINNER. ANY UNCORRECTED DRAW PICKS ON THE WBSS WILL BE WASTED.


    NOTES:
    -Picking the correct winner earns 20 pts
    -Picking the correct method earns 10 pts
    -Picking the correct detail is worth 10 pts
    -Draws are worth 120 pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 40pts.

    -CLOSE is <12 pts difference, or anything closer than 116-112 on all three scorecards. WIDE is >=12 pts difference, or anything equivalent to 116-112 on all three cards or wider.

    -If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.

    -2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 5 doubles and 3 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread.

    Sticky me please and it'd be appreciated if you could also remove any old pick 'em threads still stickied.

    Okay gents, 4 decent fights this weekend, though all of 'em have a very clear favourite. I'd imagine most of the points will be won on the details here but an upset is a definite possibility on a coupla of these fights if anyone wants to take a chance on the multiplier..

    And apologies to anyone who would have liked to have seen Brandon Figueroa vs Julio Ceja. By the bookies it's certainly more competitive than the bigger name fights this weekend and it is for a title, but with Ceja having been KOd 3 times of his last 5 starts and dropping down the rankings I decided against it, despite the fact that Julio probably still represents a decent test for the still raw Figueroa.

      Mmm. Hadn't actually realised when I posted the thread that Cancio and Alvarado is actually a rematch. Cancio won by KO in their last outing just shy of 4 years ago and remains the only guy to have stopped Rene.

                Sorry if I should have put this in the other thread but what other events do we have left this year? (don't need a detailed reply, just quick idea, thx)
