Smh

Kovalev's FIGHT NIGHT weight Vs. Eider Alvarez 2 was 180lbs and his weight for the Yarde fight was 183.5.

This rehydration clause will have ZERO effect on Kovalev. He completely changed his diet when he switched to McGirt. Here is a video from Kovalev himself confirming it. Timestamped 2:22

      REHYDRATION Clause

Listen guys. I'm not a GGG fanboy. I'm a boxing fan. I thought GGG got robbed the 1st fight but had no issues with the 2nd fight outcome although I thought it was extremely close. Had no problem with Canelo winning. He deserved it. But all you Canelo fans how can you continue to turn your head to all this craziness with all these REHYDRATION clauses?? This is ridiculous. Kolev although still good but past his best years now has to be WEIGHT HANDICAPPED????I mean come on. This is out right ridiculous. Even if Kolev is okay with only being able to weigh 185 the mourning of doesn't make it right. This takes all credibility away from this fight if he beats a walking zombie. The guys already not in his prime why HANDICAPP him even more????? Come on Canelo fans. WHEN WILL you admit this is getting out of control.

The title of the bscene article on this makes it seem like he struggled, but it only took a few minutes for him to shed off enough to make weight lol.

Kind of a surprise anyway though, don't think Kov has missed weight before to the best of my memory

They're doing EVERYTHING to fk kovalev over, we know cheatelo has to win at all cost..the "golden boy" can not lose..the only way he can win is when they make the opponent lose before the fight even starts

You're right. It is largely meaningless.
It is unfortunate that they even put it in to the contract as it will obviously cheapen the outcome for a casual fan. Lame decision for everyone.

Dude had trouble making his own weight, with no catchweight whatsoever lol. It’s not like he can go up to cruiser, he’d be too small.

                    Interesting but no foul play?

I’m all for conspiracy theories and all, but for the scale to be off, that would mean all the weigh ins were off by a half pound or so? Seems far fetched since both Ryan and Duno came in at 135 even.

Yeah I here you , and I agree anyone who can’t speak the language properly , their comments will be taken out of context
Personally I think the guy is a douche and that is my personal reasoning
I recall when he was talking about Stevenson and let me tell you , those comments came straight from his mouth
And there were a few other questionable interviews that I saw
I think Canelo will win tomorrow fairly easy
                      Who you got ?
My thinking is Kovi is done ( his win over Yarde was not as convincing as it should of been actually the guy went tooth and nail )
And honestly speaking , he really has a hard tim taking shots to the bod
If Yarde ( or his fughin trainer ) had any brains , they would of kept going to the body cause that was the only Tim that Yarde would take over in the fight
If not mistaken , he went to the body in the 4th , 7th and 8th
Not his fault but I think Father Time has come calling
