Broner was never a killer. Never. At any weight class.

Thurman was never a killer but he was well promoted

Eleider Alvarez is a limited fighter and I dont think he'll be a force at LHW in 2-3 times with Bivol and Beterbiev there (and maybe Canelo). Kovalev showed tons of heart in taking the immediate rematch and winning it very clearly

Yarde was similar to Alvarez in that he had terrific power, but limited in other areas...for example, STAMINA.

GGG has fought Canelo twice (bonafide Top 10 PFP in both fights) and he held his own. Some people say GGG won both, but most are content with the scoring being either 1-1 or 0-1-1 as official scores show. Dervenchenko - who is not elite - beat GGG close, but clear. And notice how the fanGGGirls arent crying about robbery in that one XD XD XD

Serious? Broner got 4 weight classes via koing good fighters. Thurman? Hype? You need more than hype if you have plans of beating Garcia and Porter among others. But anyway...

    7th- GGG
    10th- Manny

Does not matter what we say. That's how the bible sees it and its final. They wont make the cut if they're on their way out... Kova is the king of the LH and he KOed Yarde. There is no way you'd be doing that if you're done with the sport.

If this is how you define a washed up fighter, wow... I'm sure every boxer will look forward to being a washed up one.

Kovalev is not washed up, just aging.

But if he gets knocked out again, it's bye-bye.

        thats weird to me.

both the ward losses were marred by controversy. and he avenged his KO loss to alvarez.

how exactly is he washed up??
If he wasn't washed up he would not have to avenge a KO loss because he would have won the first fight. If he wasn't washed up he would never have lost to Ward because a prime Kovalev would have knocked Ward out. If he wasn't washed up he would be 30 years old not 36 years old. If he wasn't washed up he would not have struggled with a nobody like Yarde. If he wasn't washed up he would be the betting favorite to beat Canelo and not a 4 to 1 underdog.

He was knocked out in his next fight and almost knocked out a few months ago. Why did Clenela target Kov instead of Beterbiev?

Please, let's go over these "good fighters". Go on...

What? Hair split decision wins over Danny Garcia who is exceedingly average and MMAPorter make you "special"?

And PLEASE...who are these "among others" LMFAO. There are NO OTHERS..LOL...

I agree Kova is NOT washed up and I have him winning via UD, but I dont think he beats Bivol at this point and possibly not Beterbiev either

Biggest issue is that the power seems to be gone. He relies on his boxing now.

It's just butthurt Canelo haters that claim Kovalev is completely shot

Yeah, he's not prime anymore, he's declined a bit but he's still one of the best LHWs

they're trying to act as if he was Erik Morales making a comeback or something

these clowns are also forgetting Canelo is a MW, neglecting the massive size/ reach/ power difference, which favours Kovalev badly in this fight

Even a past prime Kovalev should still be able to flatten 99% of MWs

I don't understand it either. People actively use the "he's lost 3 of his last 6 fights" or whatever as if two of those losses weren't mired in controversy, and the other loss avenged in comprehensive fashion.
