Jarrell Miller: "Anthony Joshua getting $75 million for Ruiz 2 fight in Saudi Arabia"

Joshua is so soft, I am looking forward to an early round stoppage by Andy, who will come into this fight in better shape, throwing bombs and knocking Joshua back with those quick hands all night before he lands the big right hand followed up by some combinations that will send Joshua DOWN to the canvas again and shake his butt up. Let's Go Any Ruiz!! Mexican American Champ!!!

Thats sounds like an over the top amount. I would find it hard to believe but hearing about the amounts of money they have thrown at other things its not that crazy of a call by Miller. These Saudis splash that cash like nobody else in the world.

Come on Miller, stop being a Big Baby about it. It's not about whether it's $7 million or $75 million.
It's about the next time the Saudis destroy office buildings or beloved national landmarks with planes, or gang up and slash a journalist to pieces in their own embassy and leave him dead for his fiance to bury.
When it happens, people will say, "But what about that Joshua-Diaz 2 fight! That was a GOOD ONE!!"
A memorable fight? Priceless!

Same goes for Wilder. If you want that money, just go and beat Joshua a couple of times.
As for whether AJ is getting $75M... I wouldn't have thought Miller had any kind of inside line but it's probably not far wrong. He didn't become less of a draw in defeat - I think it did the opposite. The world can't wait to see if he can recapture the belts.
Floyd and Oscar split $90m, Floyd and Canelo basically split $100m, and Floyd and Top Rank split $400m+.
With Sky Box Office bringing what it brings now, the now seen current maximum value a marquee fight could see in Las Vegas, and a current PPV ceiling of 4.5 million homes, the market is there to happily pass on $40m if you trust the process.
The world has **** to do with it, tbh; Saudi Arabia paying $50m to host an event with their oil money to throw a shroud over the carnage that they've brought to the world is the only change here.
Don't fool yourself

Did you care when Floyd took 33% against Oscar? Despite being the p4p #1
Wilder's decision making was idiotic, at best. Hes trying to win a PR war , the kid is not smart.
Whether he deserved it or not, "Big Baby" Miller was set to get $6.5m to fight, so $6.5m became the number.
Ruiz basically got fair value, so him taking the shot made sense. Ruiz was more than down to do the rematch, until he saw that the live gate money went from $5m to $45m (or whatever the actual bag is) and made sure that he's getting a piece of that extra bump too.
$6.5m turns to $10m for the rematch, and Ruiz is happy to show up and eat Snickers again.
Wilder is a different animal, and everyone seems to know and understand this, except for Hearn/Joshua and their fans.
Joshua stepped on his banana peel (after underwhelming in his US invasion), and Wilder's profile continues to grow as he keeps holding up his end of things. Lol

This shouldn't be a surprise at all to anyone paying attention, Joshua was making $25-$30M for the first Ruiz fight which wasn't a big fight at all. Since he lost the rematch was always going to be a much bigger fight, easily double the interest worldwide, probably a lot more.
Add in $40-$50M in S.A. site fee, plus an opponent who was signed to a flat fee rematch clause you have a situation where this will probably be the biggest possible payday for Joshua.
Yeah, Wilder or Fury vs Joshua could be a bigger fight, but will it have a $40M site fee kicked in, probably not, will Joshua be getting 80%+ split, absolutely no way.
