Jarrell Miller: "Anthony Joshua getting $75 million for Ruiz 2 fight in Saudi Arabia"

    Thoughts on this....

Is Joshua purse really $75 million?????

I remember hearing it was insanely high but this is wild. That beats Canelo/DAZN money.

SA is paying WWE half a billion for 2 shows a year for the next 10 years so that number is believable.
More than Wilders earned his whole career in one night.

Its so hard just ignoring what big baby did, I like the fact he didn't deny his wrongdoings some people in the sport could learn a thing or two from Miller. Miller should be put all the way down on the list, he gonna have to prove a lot of people wrong.

Miller is likely full of ****, but a point like that is why Wilder isn't fighting Joshua on DAZN any time soon.

Ruiz gets stiffed on the money, sees his purse for the rematch go from $6m to $8m, and likely still ends up in a situation where Joshua is making tenfold what he's making, lol.

                  shqipe..

He may not be getting $75 million but he surely ain't getting far off that. Otherwise they would have done the fight in the States or in the UK.

Canelo only get's paid big when he fights GGG on PPV (i think again JCC Jr he may have done well also). He wouldn't have got paid comparatively that much with the Liam Smith, Amir Khan, other fights..

Canelo's contract with DAZN is fantastic if/when he realizes the 10 or 11 fights.

I still don't see the issue. Ruiz couldn't have even dreamed of this kind of money. He's getting it because Joshua brings it to the table.

He could refuse and fight for parity elsewhere, but he's taking home less. If he beats Joshua again, he's massive!

Same goes for Wilder. If you want that money, just go and beat Joshua a couple of times.

As for whether AJ is getting $75M... I wouldn't have thought Miller had any kind of inside line but it's probably not far wrong. He didn't become less of a draw in defeat - I think it did the opposite. The world can't wait to see if he can recapture the belts.
