    Canelo humiliated Golovkin

Canelo humiliated Golovkin and I'm not just talking about how he basically beat him twice. Who doesn't remember the good old days, when everyone went on about Canelo being scared of fighting Golovkin? Well, look how the tide has changed.

Canelo moved up and fought Golovkin, which no one expected him to have the balls to do. He beat Golovkin twice and even made him cry and leave the ring post-fight, and then proceeded to move up in weight, something Golovkin never manned up to do. Canelo defeated Jacobs and will soon fight Saunders, the two guys that fans wanted Golovkin to fight for so long. Canelo beat Jacobs convincingly, while Golovkin had to settle with gift decisions against both Jacobs and Derevyachenko.

Everyone shamed Canelo, but he has in a few years done all of the things that everyone expected of Golovkin, which Golovkin never had the courage to do. Now Canelo is fighting Kovalev, at 175 lb. Golovkin should be ashamed of himself. At the end of the day, it turned out that Canelo was more of a man than Golovkin ever was.

Even though you're in red, I agree with you

Then perhaps you should make me green? I never asked to be included in this nerdy reputation system, but it makes me look bad when the nerds gang up on my reputation.

I missed the bit where it said WHAT IT IS Golovkin should be ashamed of? Some Golovkin fans are crazy and make fools of themselves but some Golovkin haters are crazy and make fools of themselves. The more normal Boxing fans have alot of respect for Golovkin, his career and his achievements. If he chose not to move up and win belts at different weights thats his choice, if he didnt manage to beat a multiweight superstar in 2 very close fights does that expose him as some sort of bum?

If somebody can unify a division and pretty much dominate a division for a number of years is that really something to be ashamed of? Is that humiliating? When he retires then the fact he didnt move up or do this or do that will be all be included in just how high or low he will be seen all time but hes far from the 1st to pick and division and stay in it.

It's true. Canelo has gone on to do everything Golovkin fans claimed their man could do but never actually did.

By going up to 175 lbs he is even surpassing the "I'll fight anyone from 154 to 168" boast that GGG's team used to make.

So having 2x scorecards at 115-113 for a Fighter whos never had 1 scorecard from a Judge not go against him in his entire career , in a fight most oberseevers believe he lost equals humiliation now

            Yeah makes complete sense

Golovkin will be a bitter old man who looks back on Canelo's career while telling his grandchildren "this could have been me!". And deep inside, he will always know it wasn't him, simply because he was a coward.

I'm not a Canelo fan in any way, but at least Canelo is taking some risks while Golovkin is going around getting gift decisions and whining for a third fight that he honestly doesn't deserve, he should be happy that he got away with a draw against Canelo in their first fight. There is just no need for a trilogy.

Have you considered that there's a reason why these observers aren't hired to score fights?
