December 7 is a long way off for us to have to over analyze this fight to excess. Either man can stop the other. I think Ruiz has advantages in hand speed, stamina and punch resistance. AJ has the physical advantages of reach, height and foot mobility. If AJ can keep Andy on the outside and dictate pace, he will probably win. If he doesn't or can't do these things, he will probably lose.

I disagree...Joshua STILL needs to get the knockout early, but do it smarter. Turn the oven up to 450, and cook the beef faster .

Joshua's overmuscled physique results in late fight fatigue. The later the fight goes without a KD/KO, the chances him being KO'd himself, and losing by decision increases.

He should not even be thinking about a ko. It might not even be possible for Joshua to do it. He needs to win rounds and fight at a sustainable pace, never, no matter what happens, punch yourself into exhaustion.

Joshua must do what Wladimir did the whole his career ( except Joshua fight) and he will win.

That's a very sage thing to do. Initially, in their first bout Joshua was controlling the distance and pace just beautifully.

However, once he dropped Ruiz with that left hook in the third round then the fight went into another direction. AJ moved in to finish Andy while using up too much stamina and energy in the process and then it became a firefight.

Andy Ruiz clipped him in the exchanges and then hurt Joshua while subsequently dropping him twice in that round and he never recovered; Which is something AJ cannot afford to let happen again.

That was Manny Pacquaios mistake in the Marquez fight. If he thinks thats the only reason he lost he gon lose again

AJ is so corny, I want to support him but his whole shtick is so try-hard and forced. He's been managed well up until the Ruiz fight, where I think he got complacent and overlooked Ruiz. But even if he wins the rematch, I don't think I can ever get behind this guy. There's nothing behind the eyes or between the ears. Tom Cruise-esque, vapid, PR-machine, insta-reality, hype train... The Robot (except not cool like Arnie or Drago, more like the manchurian candidate).

I could see him trying to do the boring Parker fight game plan, he payed Parker a lot of respect going into the fight, because Parker and his team talked a lot prior to the fight. You could see he was scared because he didn’t know what to expect from Parker.

Now with Ruiz he knows what that guy brings, fast hands, good reactions, good boxing IQ from a younger age, you cannot buy those things. So I could see him trying to win this through an ugly/boring game plan.
