It's the same people. As much as I give aboutfkntime ****, at least he's consistent with stuff like this. Others like kid and kush are the biggest Canelo groupies here and as usual, changed their stance once he became involved.

I didn't have time to look through every page for those two. I saw McDonalds talk some ****, but he's a ******.

aboutfkntime's post just worked perfectly for me to comment on. I knew he wouldn't move the posts, he's consistant.

That’s because aboutfkntime and many others, including mec, want the best fighting the best, and when Canelo starches Murata, everyone will agree that it didn’t do anything. I have been on record to say, for years, BJS ain’t shet. You can tell by his fights and an old faded war torn Andy Lee is the only reason why BJS got praise aside from the traditional British belt. Oddly enough BJS has even dismissed British belts to say “Eubank is only British level” at best.

I want Canelo vs Smith because the Mexican has won Ring Belts at 154-160. At 168 even better! And Ryder showed that Smith doesn’t like inside power... Ryder is not even a combination puncher.

But of course, aboutfkntime would agree that straps and beating the undefeated BJS and Smith looks better on Canelo’s resume NOW!

Though we all know the politics of Hearn vs GBP. GBP and Top Rank have been consistent in negotiations since Kovalev to Murata.

For me, I agree and disagree with Aboutfkntime with this:

Murata got robbed by N’Dam. It was ruled a rematch because of the shady ness. Anyone who watched that fight would agree. So then Murata comes to show the second fight and takes care of the doubt.

Keep in mind Murata is a Gold medalist. Not too bad for Canelo’s resume considering Felix Diaz was a respected win for Crawford or Salido with Loma (lol).

Murata then had an off night with Brant, but then completely outclassed him in the rematch as he did with N’Dam.

Now I’m not saying Murata got a chance with Canelo, but I think Murata deserves a little benefit of doubt just for the first Brant fight. It’s just one loss.

Also, Murata a big dude. It would be interesting to see him at 168. Given Devry’s last fight, I think Murata would even give GGG problems today. Particularly at 168.

But you’re just a Canelo hater in general.

the thing that interests me least in boxing is the PPV king

not my fkn money, why would I care

but if you are going to call yourself the PPV king... the money-man... the cash-cow...

then you had better use those 2 fights wisely

Mayweather picked top opponents who were often coming off a great/signature win

apart from Fielding, Canelo's recent opponent selection has been good... Murata is just wasting a precious fight date

props to Canelo for never considering Lemieux, despite the fact that fight was always sitting there

Murata is a mandatory, right... ?

what happened to all that... " Canelo does whatever he likes " ... crap?

Murata cannot beat Canelo, or even seriously challenge him

neither can Derevy, fans are talking shlt... the only decent fights for Canelo at 160 are Charlo Andrade and Golovkin

Benavidez and Saunders are better fights, those guys have better strengths/styles

or even Smith and Bivol, all those fights would be better... that is who the PPV king should be fighting

that is how Mayweather did it, you had to do something to land that fight... either fight the very best, or jump up a division

No, I don't think it actually is a mandatory. The WBA hasn't made any statement on it, and they stopped forcing regular guys to face super champs with Jacobs/Golovkin I think (Probably because that was the fight they said they were going to start getting rid of the regular belts, and that never happened)

The Murata announcement came out of ****ing nowhere. There isn't anyone at Middleweight that really interests me to fight Canelo TBH. At SMW I like Benavidez or Plant. And Bivol can be made at 168 or 175.

Honestly? Canelo doesn't deserve the trilogy. Time for GGG to move on and fry some bigger fish, Canelo is done

Canelo does everything to avoid 38 year old GGG and other legit champions, I also wouldnt be surprised if he makes Murata move up in weight. That would be hilarious.
