OK man you are the one of the two of us keeping it real...and not just desperately saying what you want to be true so you don't have to think the white guy is a great boxer lol...dominant amateur..silver Olympic medal...dominant pro with dominant KOs vs very good opponents...never really lost, never really hurt and never dropped...yet you think he is a hype job lolololololololol

I mean whatever you need to tell yourself my friend...one of us has their self-worth riding on GGG being good or not...and it ain't me

Who is the best white boxer ever in your view btw?
This is the primary sticking point for GGG career. Who are these very good opponents that he KOd? You seem to be thr one telling yourself what you need to hear. Yes GGG is/was talented. Yes he did beat everyone put in front of him before Alvarez. Was he "great". No. He chose chasing a money fight vs Alvarez or Cotto over greatness. He didn't unify all the belts with BJS because he wanted to keep the KO streak and not risk losing to a mover spoiler. He didn't move up and fight Ward even at the catchweight. He didn't move down for the 154 top guys or fight them at a catchweight. His entire reign as the top middleweight was centered around fighting Alvarez or Cotto then ultimately Alvarez. That's not greatness to me. Its smart and has worked for him, but you don't get credit for what people wanna believe you woulda done if you fought other top guys.

Great maybe this could eventually lead to a GGG/Horn fight over here in Australia.

Wasn't that GGG approach while trying to fight Alvarez or Cotto. Isn't that why he turned down Ward and any 168 guy who wasn't washed or green. Isn't that why he refused any catchweight fights. Isn't that why Vanes was selected over Andrade Saunders and Dervy, to protect the Alvarez fight.

I guess for you guys GGG should just fight Alvarez until he either gets his hand raised or Alvarez knocks him out. Then you can either say SEE I TOLD YOU....or HE WAS TOO OLD.

My response is you have selective memory when it comes to Canelo. As I said Charlo Andrade and Canelo have spent most of their careers in the same division and never fought each other. It's obvious they are ducking each other.

GGG was after Cotto and Canelo (at 160) only after 2015...

... but before that (i.e. 2012-2014), GGG was after: Sturm, Martinez, Geale, Barker (champs at 160); FMJr, Canelo (champs at 154); Chavez Jr., Froch, Ward (at 168)

The question was about GGG, not Charlo or Andrade or Alvarez. Make a thread about Alvarez not fighting Charlo or Andrade yet and we can talk. Until then...GGG and cherrypicking.

Was never after Alvarez at 154 (refused to go below 160) or Ward at 168. Can't say he was seriously after FMJr as there was no indication he would actually drain to 154. It seemed to be just talk.

Research Edwin Rodriguez and you will see how serious they were about fighting at 168 against active 168 guys.

I give him props for ruling 160 from 2012 to 2015. But the division was weak and when it came time to either move up or catchweight to make the competitive fights, he focused solely on scoring a Alvarez or Cotto fight...not for legacy...but for money.

... I do thank you very much for your answer to my post... (even there was no need)...

Yeah, actually good choice. Murata is a big name in Japan. Smart plan, first beat Murata and than fight Andrade or Charlo.

Loeffler says that a Charlo fight doesn't make sense financially and the haters say Golovkin is ducking Charlo.
Alvarez puts it right out there that he wants no more business with GGG and he doesn't like him so he won't fight and the diva fans scream "... no duck!"
                      Typical diva dementia.
