Yep thanks man...G's performances against top fighters...and his dominant performances against quality fighters...should tell the story of how great he is imo..especially compared to the less good results of his ATG peers in those respects.



Perhaps you guys have missed my point...I don't think he was a 'bum'...he was a good fighter...but he was of the same quality as a Macklin Monroe etc...can you name 1 guy that Barkley beat, besides Hearns? If he was so great surely you can find another good name?



Please name another fighter with 15 plus wins over quality opposition with no losses...not including matchups with other greats in that...please feel free to do some research my friend...honestly seems like some people on here get their information from crazy places regarding some fighters etc...I don't really understand overlooking how well G did against the Monroes, Proksas, Geales, Adamas etc...perhaps you just aren't very familiar with his career though, idk...but if you are ignorant on a topic, why would you speak so loudly and rudely? lol

not an atg but a two time champ that was huge for a middleweight and gave the best trouble when he wasn’t having issues with his life style he would beat or decapitate any one who came at him .Good boxer that’s another story.He was a high risk low reward fighter that had a small window of success when he was properly trained and had his life style under control.His problem was he got his **** together to late and was starting to become a shot fighter.

not an atg but a two time champ that was huge for a middleweight and gave the best trouble when he wasn’t having issues with his life style he would beat or decapitate any one who came at him .Good boxer that’s another story.He was a high risk low reward fighter that had a small window of success when he was properly trained and had his life style under control.His problem was he got his **** together to late and was starting to become a shot fighter.

To be fair he was a 2 time champ because he beat Hearns twice...I don't think he even had 1 title defense..or maybe 1 total I'm not sure.

But yeah at the same time...he beat Tommy Hearns...twice...what more needs to be said about him really...that says right there how good he was...not hating on him at all...but also if I said I recognized one other win on his resume I would be lying.

Just was making the point that there are a lot of quality fighters out there...and styles make fights...eventually if you are in there with enough good fighters you will probably have an off night, even if you are a great or ATG like the Hitman...one of my all-time favorites for the record

Thanks my friend...there is too much negativity out there and I try my best not to further any of it...we can all disagree sometimes and see things differently...such is life...all we can do is try to call it like we see it and go from there

Quality opposition - basically everyone he has faced since Proksa - with Wade out and Ouma in imo...if you can really look at that list and try and slight all those guys...but give other greats a pass when they drop 1 or 2 out of 10 of those matchups...well why should anyone think you keep it real lol...including Ouma he has been in there with 18 quality opponents.
