So - GGG gets slighted for beating 'bums' like Macklin, Monroe, Brook, Lemieux etc...

The truth is... 'great' fighters usually win about 8 or 9 out of ten against other quality fighters...the other 1 or 2 out of that 10 end up being losses, draws, or controversial wins...GGG has never had a slip up in about 15 or so of those fights...should be very impressive to most I would think...
When 'great' fighters fight other 'greats' they are usually about .500 in those fights...Hagler stopped Hearns, he basically drew against an old/fat/smaller Duran, and got schooled by a smaller SRL (if anyone thinks Hagler won that fight I can't even take you seriously lol...kind of joking but kind of not
Hearns was basically even with SRL...KOed Duran and got KOed by Hagler...etc etc...when you study any great fighter...Ali comes to mind as well...the wins in big fights roughly equal a .500 win percentage.
It does matter how many fights you have at this top level, and how you do in them...but most 'greats' only have a few fights against other 'greats' in their prime...'greats' are just a rare breed, and finding two relatively prime 'greats' around the same weight at the same time is unique...study any fighter's history if you would like...
For GGG most would have him 2-0 in his 'great' fights vs Nelo...Jacobs Murray and Lemieux should be in a type of next category below that 'great' level imo...but still should get credit for those 'great' wins in a way.
So as much hate as G gets - he never had a slip up against quality opposition, and he faced probably more of them than almost any other fighter in history...and almost every other 'great' has 1 or 2 slips up in those fights out of 10.
what " quality " opposition... ?
when he finally stepped up in class with Brook, Jacobs, Canelo... he struggled
we saw his ceiling in those fights
And G has basically shown to be undefeated in his 'great' fights...when most other 'greats' are about .500 in those fights...yet some still hate on him lol...but if you're going to hate at least be consistent - and slight other greats like Hagler and Hearns when they lose to these 'bums' that GGG is dominating.[/B]
what " great " fights... ?
he got beaten by Canelo and he arguably lost to Jacobs
put it this way... the Golovkin/Jacobs fight was closer than the Golovkin/Canelo rematch... so if Golovkin deserves a rematch with Canelo, then Golovkin still has business with Danny Jacobs

Golovkin is the very dictionary definition of an underachiever
promised:
" anyone from 154-168 "
delivered:
- Jacobs*
- Lemieux
- Murray
timid opponent selection is the problem
we told you guys he needed to take the fights that he was avoiding

Golovkin actually has a .000 win percentage against great fighters as he is 0-3 against Alvarez and Jacobs.

Personally I wouldn't call Macklin, Brook, Murray etc bums but I have actually watched a number of their fights, im guessing the people calling them bums are the ones just looking at boxrec stats and youtube clips.
Monroe and Lemieux are among Billie Joe Saunders best wins, people rave about how he schooled Lemieux, well GGG destroyed him with a jab and got him out of there before 12 rounds.
