Doesn't deserve it. If you look at his boxrec, his career is not that impressive. And the Loma duck is unforgivable.

As much as I would love to see Mikey vs. Danny, or Manny, 140 is probably best for Mikey! Crawford would beat him just like Spence did, and he'll be too weak @ 135 for Haney, much less Lomachenko! Prograis or Taylor would be a better match-up, even though it's less money!

I don't know if Mikey should continue to fight anymore. It just seems like his heart is no longer into it. Perhaps, it would be best, if he considers taking a long rest away from the sport, in order to decide whether or not he still wants to do this.

He can get his career back on track. It's most likely at 140 lbs from now on though.

It’s perfect for Garcia. Matchroom doesn’t really have anyone for him to fight. He can travel the world and fight who ever he wants while building his record. He’ll wait for a title to come free, win it and then hold it hostage forever and ever before retiring at something like 85-1.

The PBC were ****** for green lighting that Spence-Mikey double weight stunt. What was the point of sacrificing Mikey and putting a blemish on his record instead of trying build him up into a star - in his own weight class? That was foolish on their part.

Crawford would undoubtably, viciously TKO Mikey, unlike Spence was able to do!

It made money and helped Errol Spence get more recognition

If Loma beats Campbell in two weeks and Mikey waits until then, he can probably get a huge offer from TR starting with a Lomachenko PPV in the fall or January 2020, then another guaranteed fight. He could probably walk into a 40-50 million dollar deal for just two fights.

Question is, can he still make 135? And do fans still even want to see it after Mikey looked poor vs Spence, and Loma has been looking muscle bound and slower (maybe older?) at 135?

I'd still have some interest if they could make it really soon, before either gets older. Ideally Mikey has a good performance at 135 first, but there's not really any time to waste given Loma's apparent aging/slowdown at 135 the last few fights.
