Sorry to disappoint you kid but Ruiz exposed Joshua to the point where any chance of a win in a rematch would only come via a knockout and even on that it seems Ruiz has the cards as Joshua caught and dropped him with a beauty of a left hook and Ruiz got up and basically finished him.

lewis is involved in boxing as a commentator and he goes to the fights and people ask him questions

aj seems like he can't take criticism

he talks about hiring foreman for advice because he has been there and done it but that does not apply to lewis lol


and him thinking he is anywhere near the same level as lewis is pure delusion

look at the basic errors aj makes in his footwork

starts circling the wrong foot

doesn't plant his heal on the ground before his toes

and the way he talked when he reviewed the fight he thinks he has to throw more punches, but if you look at why he didnt its because ruiz's feet were fast enough to retreat when aj wanted to attacked.

That's a bit strong i'd say. If AJ beats Wilder and Fury he'd have a better resume than Lennox quite soon.

For some reason Lennox Lewis gets very overrated nowadays. I remember when he retired. He was considered a great heavyweight, but really mostly because Tyson and Holyfield aged before he got to them.

Nowadays it seems like Lewis is considered some super great heavyweight.

I understand it, but really looking at his resume it's not like he beat great heavyweights in their prime.

But I agree though, Lewis tends to get overrated and most of the time he has this ridiculous size advantage on almost everyone he fought.

And Lewis is somewhat afraid that AJ might become the new face of British Heavyweight boxing, becoming a relic.

I like Lennox alot and greatly respect his career. He seems like an intelligent and polished individual. With that being said, I'm not a fan of his boxing commentary and sometimes there seems to be bias in his takes on boxing topics.

Are you actually sure about that? Lewis beat every man he ever fought in a very strong era and demolished some excellent fighters. He is very salty regards AJ probably as Joshua is far more popular than he ever was in the UK. However true that is it doesn't change the fact that prime Lewis would beat Joshua handily.

Prime Lewis got repeatedly KO'ed by Mcall and Rahman. AJ is trying to have KO his Mcall (Ruiz) and get the belts back. But AJ at age 29 is far ahead on Lewis when Lewis was 29.
