even if we ignore that Saudi Arabia is one of the most backwards and oppressive regimes. The Gulf Kingdoms isn't even neutral ground. Joshua has already been promoted in that region, and they seem to like him. We can't ignore religion in this since it's ruled by backwards Wahhabis, and Ruiz displays his Christianity fully in the open. Ruiz' team would be ****** or they are just taking a cash out if they've agreed to fight in that backwards hellhole.

At the end of the day, it's still American money.

Ali vs foreman - Zaire Ali vs Frazier - Manila Tyson vs Douglas - Tokyo ......it’s about time a fight was not pigeon holed in either Vegas , New York or Wembley stadium.
Boxing is a world sport and if an outside venue bids more than any other venue then they win the bid.
        good luck to it

Ive never known a countries people to moan about everything as much as Americans moan about everything not American. Weve heard a thousand excuses now why PBC fighters cant or shouldnt do this that or the other. Its getting boring. The PBC is boring.

The most classic heavyweight fights have been fought in Manilla (Ali/Frazier lll), Zaire (Ali-Foreman), Tokyo (Tyson-Douglas) like the guy said above. This is also an unique location which falls under that. I can’t lie Im shocked that it’s happening there but you snowflakes would’ve cried if it was in the UK so boohoo. I’m just happy that these men are about to get PAID.

With what's going on in the U.S. (Charleston, SC, Charlottesville, VA, Pittsburgh, PA, El Paso, TX) , I don't see how we have the audacity to criticize Saudi Arabia! We support Saudi Arabia's bombing campaign in Yemen! We (at least our President) turn a blind eye to Kashoogi's assassination! Regardless of Human Rights, and Women's Rights violations we don't sanction Saudia Arabia, yet we condemn Iran! Lastly, we seem to forget that 11 of the 13 hijackers from the 9/11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia!

So from a "World Champion" point of view, I see this as a positive! We need more of this, not less! Why hasn't Pacquiao had a "Thrilla' in Manila?" That's shameful! Why can't Canelo have a World title fight in Mexico?

Why is this being labeled a "money grab"? Isn't every fight a money grab? Hasn't boxing been corrupt in the United States for a century?

When a fighter boxes in Vegas are they supporting prostitution, ****, *** trafficking, child *** trafficking, pimping, drugs and ********?

The idiocy of most of you on here is actually laughable.

Again, you idiots are acting like b!tches and complaining about the site of a fight that you aren't even going to attend. Most of you wouldn't go even if it was in your city. You hate AJ and Hearn so ANYTHING that they do, you guys make it seem like it's a bad thing. All while pumping up Fury and/or Wilder. Even though they are beating up on bums
