And also to answer Larry's question. It's because Floyd never fought a Prime A-level fighter at their best when there were several walking around.

Diego Corrales wasnt prime? I mean Diego was literally favored and Floyd was underdog in that fight.

And at 130/135 Diego was B+/A- level

The only fighter Floyd couldve fought that was "A" level was Pacquiao. And that fight happened later due to drug testing discrepancies and then Manny losing to JMM. Canelo is too far off in age for that fight to have happened when he entered his prime.

De La Hoya and Mosley didnt fight Floyd in their respective primes. That was their choice as THEY were the PPV attraction, not Floyd.

Hatton was undefeated although clearly not A level...maybe C+/B-

JMM is an A level opponent..at 135. Nonetheless it was a good performance.

Floyd's win over Genaro Hernandez was excellent although it was probably as Genaro was exiting his prime.

You are annoyed Floyd didnt move up 2-3 weight classes overnight to fight a guy who wouldve been labeled "washed up" or "drained" had Floyd beat him?

I liked Wright, but he was fairly basic. I do believe Floyd wouldve beaten him in 2005 because he was still in his athletic prime then. He was very, very fast. Tough fight for sure, but I'm not disappointed it never happened.

Winky campaigned at 160 during 2005 and Floyd at 140. And you're legitimately suggesting the 140lb fighter "ducked" the Middleweight.
