My opinion is that a rematch is only required if their are doubts on the result, although the scores looks close but overall it was obvious that Pacquiao won and dominated Thurman.

Another point is that, Pacquiao career is good for another 1 or 3(at the max) more fights, it will be a waste of time for Pacquiao to do a rematch, for me the ultimate goal of Pacquiao is to make the Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 happens that is why he signed up with Ellerbe.

I believe that Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 will happen but only after they feed Pacquiao 1 or 2 more hard fights in that way his physical abilities will deteriorate a bit before the fight, in that way again, Mayweather will have better chance of beating Pacquiao.

I dont think Pacquiao's fighting just for money,its more of passion than money I guess, the guy is one the richest person in the Philippines in terms of assets and investments. He is not like other old fighters that still fight because they are already broke.

I'm okay with the rematch if Ellerbe also has intentions to make Spence vs Crawford next year. Winner fights the Pac vs Thurman 2 winner.

The only way to steer Manny Pacquiao into a Keith Thurman rematch is to make an offer he cannot refuse.---or make the offer bigger or much closer than a would be offer to Errol vs Porter winner. Then, Pacquiao's match maker Sean Gibbons will asses the risk vs. reward situation and will probably be persuaded to take Thurman once again. If the offer is subpar for both, then, team pacquiao might opt to guys like Danny Garcia or since the 2-fight contract with PBC is over, he might jump ship and ask for Terrence Crawford shot. See if Arum can now deliver his asking price.

Pac has become a clear and present danger.

If Pac wins over Spence. PBC takes a massive hit.

It could happen. They realise Pac is still a live dog.

We’ll see if they would duck Pac. Will know after the Hype comes out once Spence beats Porter. The noise will be there for the showdown bwtween Pac and Spence.

Only way to stop this fight from happening is if Spence fights Crawford instead.

As soon as his contract is up, Pacquiao team would surely shop both sides of the street, it would be funny if Bob Arum suddenly accepted Manny's 20-30 million offer to fight Crawford after all what he said about his care for Manny's health and all. haha
