This isn't a hand written contract on a napkin to buy a used car.

It was a contract for millions of dollars drawn up by lawyers for a company worth hundreds of millions of dollars, if you think you just walk away from that without repercussions you are delusional.

Sky want it in the UK, Dazn want it in the states, broadcast revenue vs gate, familiar surroundings vs increased US exposure, plus a couple other locations expressed interest, all of which Joshua's team will weigh up and make their decision. They'll inform Ruiz and he'll take the fight as he agreed, it would be insanity not to.

There is just no conspiracy here.

STFU.. fight where you are told or drop the belts
Hearns contract can’t force him to drop the belts.

He doesn’t have to fight AJ, Ruiz can sit out a year and then the rematch clause is void.

WTF??? Where do you pull this from? If the rematch clause is triggered (it was), his next fight is Joshua, for the amount specified in the contract at the location decided on by Joshua. Why on earth would that that be just voided after 12 months? This isn't your 12 month mobile phone contract or a yearly dazn subscription, what on earth are you talking about?

Again, Ruiz will fight Joshua or be sued and stopped from fighting anyone else, his belts will be stripped by the bodies as they sanctioned the original fight with the rematch contract.

Some of these comments, sweet jesus...

Hearn ain’t calling no shots here because if he was fight would have been already.

Andy and Haymon are in the driver seat now.

              Don't go to GB!

Fight in Vegas or Cowboy stadium!

                Exactly.
JOSHUA is very hard to get a win over in the UK much like its hard to get a win over Canelo in Vegas.
If Ruiz goes to the UK he might aswell just be selling his belts unless he knocks him out again.
                Pretty big risk to take.

If Ruiz goes to the UK he might as well just be selling his belts unless he knocks him out again.

... what was the "risk" that Ruiz took when he signed the 1st fight on such a short notice?... he felt no pressure and wanted the life changing money... but "selling the belts" at this point would request much bigger money, I guess...

He didn't have anything to risk in the first fight but now that he has them belts it becomes a risk.
I'm sure he has people tell him he will need a knock out to beat AJ in the UK.
I'm sure that's a huge risk to him now.

I also saw a recent interview where he pretty much said he didnt think AJ would win.. that he should probably take an Interim fight but Eddie is SO damn scared to lose control and lose his cash cow that HE'S willing to take the gamble, no matter how much he puts it on AJ, he's just saving face if things go wrong.

He's ******** with Joshua's career out of sheer fear. But I'd honestly build AJ bacc up if it was up to me... get his confidence going and bank so good winnable fights.. DAVID PRICE JUST WON A FIGHT, and looked decent doing it. I'd feed him to AJ in a heart beat, then give him someone tougher but winnable like Whyte.. FFS, Eddie is going all in on this rematch.
