    Exactly.

Ruiz would have learnt a lot from beating AJ around the ring for 6 rounds. AJ would have learnt nothing as he probably can't remember it.

AJ can win but mentally can he adjust and figure out why he lost and correct it?

Most would be wise to say he’s done cuz he basically quit and was beaten up, but he’s physically superior talent wise in every way but is too stiff!

We’ll see, I think AJ wins in an upset in which Ruiz takes the favorites!
He's not physically superior. He has awful endurance, has a glass chin, is slower etc...

He has great beach muscles I think is what you mean

... poor Mike can't comprehend that someone might win a fight, even if he has a "fucked up mind"... but the fact that one wins that fight doesn't mean that one will ever forget that he once had a "fucked up mind"... (a "fucked up mind" is there to stay for good...)

I thought AJ was a fraud. But I'm actually hoping he wins the rematch. It would be a travesty for him to be shot already.

Maybe he just doesn't want it anymore, or needs a break?

As someone who has read Iron Mike's Autobiography - the guy was constantly screwing up training camps, ****ing maids before fights, and getting knocked out in sparring. His manager used to pull him out of fights claiming illness or injuries because Mike hadn't been in camp 50% of the time. Common practice

Joshua is a pro. I just think he has a dodgy chin and can't recover when he gets hit (as seen in Wlad fights and both Whyte fights, and Price and Dubois knockdowns). He put Ruiz down and followed up with a huge right - then rushed into finish and got caught because Ruiz has faster hands. If Joshua keeps his distance and grabs when Ruiz gets close - things *could* be completely different.

How can he be a fraud? - he has the best record out of all current heavyweights. He may not turn out to be the best of them - but that's just a fact.

Even if you make excuses and say Povetkin is old and Wlad was old etc Well Ortiz wasn't old? (the guy is 40!), Fury wasn't fat and retired for 2 years when Wilder drew with him?? Wlad wasn't old and terrible when Fury beat him?? etc

It's just a fact that AJ has the best record. No way is he a fraud. He's just not as good as people thought he was.

How many times do I have to say it? All of the legends are agreeing with me. An immediate rematch is all wrong for Anthony Joshua. He was under too much pressure and stress to one up Deontay in his American debut; To the point of his losing focus and getting distracted by Deontay Wilder.

My advice to him is to take an extended break from the sport, in order to allow himself more time to develop and correct his mistakes. Then allow his body to heal and recover from that knockout lost and lastly get some much needed rest from all the emotional stress and rigors of the sport.

If he does this, then he will come back even hungrier, stronger and better than before.

I'm not dis*****g that he has the best record. Saying he's not as good as people thought.........that isn't the same as a fraud?

I hope he isn't a fraud. I hope he comes back like Mike Tyson did after Buster Douglas.

This. That would be my approach if I were managing him. It seems to me, like he's just lost his desire. He's obviously got the talent, but if his head is elsewhere, talent alone won't be enough.

Unfortunately, money-hungry Hearn will probably push him into a rematch way too quickly.

He needs to.take the rest of the year off. At least. And then take a tune-up, before fighting for the title again.

How does he have the best record with a loss to Ruiz? I don't think he is a fraud but he could be considered one if he gets KOd again as Klitschko had him on ***** street but literally decided to not attack after the knockdown. It would then be logical to question his best win as luck or a function of Klitschko just being too old and gun shy.
