I didn't say he never laid a hand on her....but he could have been pushed very far...past the point of insanity....some women can do that and they know exactly how to do that.....they lie, gaslight, emotionally and psychologically manipulate

or she could be the type to make false claims to smear him....or exaggerate them

its also possible marcus browne is just as abusive or even the instigator

there are plenty of good women out there

but I do know for a fact that an ex of mine told her next boyfriend that I was abusive and that was just not the case at all...I also know that either that guy, or the next, guy had the cops called on him( I know this because my exs family is still close to me...was before we started dating)....and accused of being abusive....and i know those guys aren't the type(they are also close with her family and i know nobody close to that family would actually lay a hand on her) and shes the common denominator

cluster b personality disordered women can turn good men insane(and disordered men can do the same to women)....towards the end of my relationship my head was spinning and i weighed 160lbs which is well below my healthy weight

often times men(or women) return or stay because they are "trauma bonded" and have been love bombed into thinking the woman actually really does love them....the woman may believe they do but their actions are not that of someone who loves a person that just cares for them and loves them

pulev never laid his hands on any women you can't compare it to marcus brown who's been arrested five times in about a year for domestic abuse! it kovalev was never proven hit that women! again not the same! pretty ****** of you to try and compare brown who's a serial offender to those other guys!

I cannot stand this "Me Too" movement or any of it's fellow movements because it's whole purpose is to believe a woman's accusations, even before facts or investigations are done. It is an emotional driven movement, and it will destroy lives and people's families like the witch hunt of old.

However, as pointed out by many other posters, Browne is NOT a victim of the "me too" movement. He is a convicted man who has been investigated and found guilty. He repeatedly violates the law concerning this woman. He is the one required to change things, not her, regardless of how it ended up to this point. The law does not care if she cheated on him nor is it worried if she is a stark raving lunatic. This is obvious, because there are zero charges against her. The law cares about his actions, and passed judgment on him

Now, do I think he should be allowed to box? Well, the commissions need to have set standards that are followed fairly, so if the NY commission does not discipline their boxers for this kind of thing at all, then yes he can box. That is on them.

I think the coverage has been pretty accurate regarding Browne.

The reason this isn't that big of an issue is because this is just kinda par for the course when it comes to boxing. I know that sounds horrible, but that's the way it is. This isn't a sport that cares about its image the way the NFL or NBA do. It doesn't have major sponsors.

Disney owns ESPN so I wonder what's their reaction (if any) when Top Rank fighters start misbehaving in public? e.g. Shakur Stevenson, Terence Crawford.

Not sure if Hauser has written about other boxers involved with similar issues. If he hasn't then shame on him. That would make this a "hit" piece. Is the writer anti PBC? Not sure but the article itself seems very odd. Many fighters have been accused and arrested. Has Hauser covered those situations? Definitely seems like this writer has some sort of agenda!

Thank you for bringing attention to this issue. Marcus Browne should not be allowed to box let alone be a free man

Hauser seems to focus his hit pieces against fighters not with Top Rank.

Which is why many of us suspect he is one of the media members in Bob Arum's pocket.

You seem him in this article calling the WBC for comment...but why has he never called the WBO for comment on the cozy telationship between them and Top Rank fighters? At one point recently all of Arum's world champions had WBO belts.

That's just one example. If he was really interested in righteousness and rooting out corruption he would be more even handed.
