40k ain't solid PPV numbers. In what universe is 40k good PPV numbers?

The numbers for the first one was allegedly 150k. This is a freakshow sport not unlike when the UFC came upon the scene. These numbers aren't crazy.

No one has confirmed that Malignaggi got paid a million for this fight. Seemed like just rumors.
Thats how it always is, but Paulie has said pre-fight to Helen Yee that he was making more money then anyone on the recent UFC card which woulda been $360k+. The 1M stuff did seem to pop up outta nowhere post-fight & idk how legit that is or isn't, but it don't seem crazy to me.

And Crawford/Khan also did well in terms of social media trends...And the PPV did not do 200k buys. Just not going to buy that number........at all.
Idr as many people talking about Bud vs Khan as this fight. And it was even crazier cuz there was a UFC + a couple fight cards but somehow Paulie vs Lobov was all over SM & beating UFC & boxing at fans attention. Thats insane, but thats what happened.

I have to admit. That's pretty good. Those are very decent numbers for Paulie. $8mil is a lot of money. So he made some good money for this fight. Hopefully, he got a percentage.

40k for a bunch of washed up sorry fighters fighting in bare knuckles would be solid. Do you think these guys are getting paid UFC purses or something? Hell no. For the most part most of these guys are DONE or complete BUMS in their respective sports.

Either way, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it did 200k buys or anything close to it.

I honestly don't know what they are making. I know they are working with some name guys in MMA & Paulie is obviously a name guy in boxing. And idk if those guys are going into some random new sport if they aren't making something respectable.

Either way, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it did 200k buys or anything close to it.
Idk man people were all over that sh^t. It seems plausible to me.

And lets not forget these aren't UFC or Boxing priced PPVs.

There 1st one that did 150k buys was only $20. This one that allegedly did 200k-ish buys was $40. Thats only $3M & $8M in PPV revenue or like a $70 boxing PPV doing 42k buys & 114k buys respectively.

I think you are too caught up in the numbers over the revenue as too many boxing fans are with PPV sh^t.

This really was sweet!!!... bare knuckles fighting is one of the oldest attested sports!!! (there's even a Minoan painting which stands as witness...)

But yea Bud IS the bad guy. He don't even like talking to the media ffs. You can't have TR promoting you like you are some SRL/ODLH type when you ain't that cardboard cutout "good guy". Bud gots numerous non-SRL/ODLH type situations that have come up. You gotta chill the eff out or you gotta keep that hidden better like SRL did a quite well & like ODLH did pretty good himself although I think he lived in an area where celebrity meant more to the media & fans so your failiings became public easier.
              Yeah, his mom.

And they can build him as quiet and stoic because of his upbringing. He’s rough around the edges, but he’s not a thug. He’s a family man who would do anything for his kids so they wouldn’t have to grow up like he did. He escaped poverty and an abusive mother and a terrible family situation.

See? That’s how you promote him.

150k buys? See, I don't buy that at all. So whatever, good for them if they did. Personally? Don't think they reached the 100k mark with Paulie's PPV with Lobov.

Crawford hasn't had that marquee opponent yet. Khan is washed up, been KO'd too many times. What was Wilder's PPV numbers in his first 40 fights prior to Fury? How about Stevenson before he was retired by Gvozdyk? How about the Charlo brothers? Paulie/Lobov did bigger numbers than both Ward/Kovalev fights. Schaefer was running around telling the press that Spence/Garcia would do over a million PPV buys.
