Anyone really surprised? This is Floyd 2.0. Get a fat multi-fight guaranteed contract and then cherry pick while making demands that give you all of the advantages. Then try to take credit for hollow wins that came against fighters who weren’t at their best or were never great to begin with.

Manny didn’t make Oscar do anything. The only complaints you have of any substance against Manny is Cotto at 145 and MAYBE Margo at 150. The rest of your diatribe discredits your points.

Of course he did there would of been no fight if he didn't demand it because Manny refused to go up to 154 to fight oscar. None of these guys are being forced to do anything they all agree and sign contracts for large sums of money to fight at these weights. But nobody has used weight to weaken bigger men in the history of the sport then Pacquiao.

The only legitimate man you can make a case canelo might of "drained" with a catchweight would be Chavez Jr. Canelo was at 154 Chavez at 168 difference of 2 full weight classes sperated them and they met at a contract weight of 164.5 with Canelo agreeing to jump up 11.5lbs and Chavez sacrificing 3.5lbs. any pacquiao fan who celebrated all the weights he fought at and guys he beat despite imposing weight restrictions on them and at a time where he refused any drug testing has no right to complain about shyt canelo is doing. Catchweights is nothing new Floyd, Cotto, Pacquiao, Oscar this shyt was going on even in the 80's with sugar Ray Leonard. Even a clown who isn't a A side like GGG tried to do it when he ducked Andre Ward. I don't mind because of the sheer amount of weight classes canelo has gone up and he sacrificed in the Mayweather fight and Cotto fight. Bot those guys made demands he had to sacrifice to get the fights. Now he's the top dog and kovalev will likely have to give up something to get the fight. The man fought for the 154lb world title in 2016 for phuk sake he just unifed the 160 belts in May if he moves up to fight heavy weight that will be 4 world titles in 4 different weight classes in a 3 year span. That's impressive catchweight or not if he beats Kovalev. How many fighters in history have done that? GGG was scared to move up 1 weight class and made a catchweight demand because of a 8lb difference and he is bigger then Canelo and refused to move a single weight class his entire career despite screaming 154 or 168 lol. Canelo has already moved up 30lbs and 5 different weight classes and there is a 15lb weight difference between him and kovalev.

This fight was always ******. Kovalev would have to sell out for it to be made, at 175 canelo 100% loses. Canelo has better chances of waiting for bivol to grow in notoriety and then fight him at a catchweight, or 168.

While ai do realize no one is forcing a fighter to accept catch weights, what I don’t like is hypocrisy. Canelo cried that he was forced into a 152 CW vs Floyd, but now he wants CWs and all the glory for beating these guys at CW. again, these guaranteed contracts come at a price. You won’t see the big money fighters up against the best at their best.

You are a big time GGG hater and a Ward and Canelo worshiper. You are also a big time liar when it suits your agenda. Nothing you said about the Ward vs GGG situation is true. Ward never made a real offer to fight GGG. He made a media call out when GGG was in training for a contracted fight with Lemieux and couldn't possible fight Ward. By the time GGG KOed Lemieux Ward had moved to 175 and said he could no longer make 168 and was never returning to that weight. Who in the fuc are you to be calling GGG a coward. GGG wants to fight Canelo but Canelo doesn't want to fight him so who is the coward? Canelo didn't move up because he is so brave. He moved up because he had to. He couldn't make those lighter weights any more. Now it's possible he has outgrown 160. You don't here him talking about fighting a middleweight next do you now? Why is he wanting to drain old past prime Kovalev when there are three young undefeated light heavyweight champs he could challenge. Hell, Bivol offered to drop to 168 to fight Canelo but you don't hear team Canelo talking about Bivol.

Bivol is not yet a big name and would be a huge risk for Canelo. The business side say's no to this fight. Would love to see it at 168!
