You need a B side to make a ppv and they don't have a proper B side to match Crawford with

They had to overpay for Khan but there is no other guy they can over pay right now

I asked multiple times for anyone - ANYONE - to name one elite fighter Terence Crawford has beat. One.
At WW, I cannot name one, his b, c level comp at this weight class IS lacking. No argument in that. BUT, the same can be said for all of the belt holders imo. Who has Porter beat? Who has Spence beat? And Thurman beat both Garcia and Porter, but Garcia and Porter arent elite either imo. Pacquaio is the only one who has the resume of "elite" in the division, but he's old af now AND his fight is near 50/50 with Thurman at the moment. Thats not saying much for the WHOLE division.

But back to Bud, he cleaned out the JWW division, albeit it wasnt that great but he beat them all, contender, belt holder etc. The shame is NOBODY wants to fight him. Thurman wont lisp his name, Porter is silent and Spence said "he's across the street", even after Bud told him to his face that he wanted to fight him.

I'm just saying, theres no point in talking down on one, when neither of the others show that they want to fight him. They WILL hide behind Haymon tho.

Sad state of affairs if you ask me...

You haven't got to hate Crawford to see the truth in what Arum is saying (can't believe I used the words truth and Arum in the same sentence...Ahh! I did it again ) I like Crawford a lot but he just hasn't got the fan support for a successful PPV yet. The guy I'm getting a little sick of is Spence. I don't think Spence even wants the Crawford fight and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want the VADA that would go with it. Crawford does VADA and I know he wants to fight Spence.

Just wasted $5 Million on Khan and the PPV was a complete FLOP! We cannot blame Arum for this one, he TRIED and it didn't work so Crawford back in Nebraska vs a AFFORDABLE Opponent make sense

Sounds like A LOT of money was lost for that damn Khan Fight

            Spence beat AND knocked out

            - the guy that took Manny Pacquiao the distance and almost beat Amir Khan (Chris Algieri)

            - the guy that took Bradley, Ortiz, Khan and Danny Garcia the distance (Peterson)

            - the guy that beat Porter and was outboxing GGG for a minute (Brook)

            Spence beat

            - the guy everyone on NSB was calling a P4P in Mikey Garcia

If you go by named fighters, Danny Garcia had and has the best names of the entire division. Keith Thurman took care of him without too much trouble.

As far as Porter let's not forget, to this day he's only ever lost twice - Kell Brook who was undefeated and Keith Thurman who was undefeated, and took out Andre Berto in much better fashion than anyone else ever has.

Thurman is on record (Brendan Schaub interview) saying Crawford is not seen as a threat by anyone because he hasn't beaten anybody worth a damn.

Spence straight up said on one of those shows, I think it was Breakfast Club, someone brought up NSB's favorite 'eye test', and Spence said, quote "yo eyes is lying to you" about Crawford. (I died laughing BTW) because they were all trying to pressure him into saying Crawford when asked who he felt was the biggest P4P threat and he kept saying Thurman (which at the time I agreed with). Max Kellerman did it too. Overhyping Crawford like a MF.

Porter went smart. He went after Danny Garcia to get the WBC belt he always wanted. That was a MUCH more dangerous fight for him.
