Comments Thread For: Warren: Fury Has Wilder's Number; Will Be Better In Rematch

LAS VEGAS Frank Warren envisions Tyson Fury beating Deontay Wilder even easier in their rematch than in their first fight. England's Fury and Alabama's Wilder battled to a controversial split draw December 1, but Warren considers Fury the winner of that 12-round bout at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Now that Fury has remained in boxing shape between bouts, Warren can't see why a camp focused on training, not losing weight, won't prepare Fury to defeat Wilder convincingly in their second fight.

It’s going to be one hell of a rematch. I expect both to improve from their last meeting and produce a better even more competitive fight. Although I did have fury ahead in the first fight, I think it’s still a tougher out for him. I still favor the champ strictly because of wilder’s ridiculous power and gladiator personality. Can not wait for this one!

Wilder’s problem is when he can’t find openings he waits to look for them rather than create the openings and it results in giving away rounds from inactivity and it showed badly against fury...but we have seen it before with other fighters. It’s a terrible flaw in his game and the most serious flaw he has, I believe it will be the reason we will see losses on his record....he just isn’t active enough.

I think its a pick em fight but id lean the other way. As frank said with more time to prepare i find it hard to see wilder landing that lucky punch! sure wilder will correct a few things but it will take a lot more than a one two to keep fury down. he needs to add more to his arsneal to trouble fury as i believe fury only fell in the 12th due to lack of mental conditioning. had he not went down in that 12th that fight would have looked like a landslide victory which it most probably will be the next time. his boxing is on a whole other level..id go as far as saying hes a master boxer that can do it all and wilder just has that equaliser to get the job done. intruiging fight but furyat 100% will get it done

If Tyson had a real boxing coach, he'd have finished Wilder - but Ben Davidson/Davison is a novice and a yes man and a buddy of Tyson's.

I love how having little Ben Dover as his coach has made the relationship between him and Warren awkward, his promoters and the guys making the big money don't want that little chit kid messing up their cash cow - but Fury is so loyal.

The look on Freddie Roach's face said it all during the Wilder fight - he was just thinking "Is this kid gonna shut the hell up?" and "Oh...my...fuccing....heck...what did he just tell Tyson to do?" and "Wow what a fuccing idiot!".

I think everyone around Fury wants BenDover gone, he's a liability but Tyson is just too much of his 'buddy' to see it.

Wilder is going to have Fury's number too. Fury is going to think the canvas is A Sleep Number pSE 360 King Mattress this time around and won't get back up.

I think it's the other way around and I think that is one reason why they didn't jump into an immediate rematch.

It's Wilder that has Fury timed, well enough to put him down twice in the last 4 rounds.

Here's something else...Fury had better stop gaining weight- last thing he needs to be is a more stationary target.

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL CONTENT - (free for this week only or for Platinum subscribers)

You guys see the pre-fight presser with Fury and Schwarz? See how BenDavysen was saying something along the lines of "Tyson is the most special talent I've ever seen" or "I've never seen something like him before" and the cringe for anyone above the age of 12 (coincidentally, about how old Mr B.Dover is) could shatter a diamond.

Oh please mr Bend Over Son, tell us all about the legendary amounts of talent you've witnessed since becoming a boxing coach all but 2 weeks ago. Fuccing lol at him, prayers and well wishes to Arum and Warren for having to put up with him (especially to Warren - thin ice buddy)
