Malignaggi is a bum that got spurned and sparked out cold by bums and he'll get decapitated soon in bare knuckle fighting, lol.
Well both Joshua and Paulie lost their 0 at msg. The difference is that Paulie earned respect in that loss by lasting 12 rounds with a broken face vs a future hall famer while Joshua packed it in and got knocked around the ring by an 11-1 underdog.

You were right that Joshua should take notes from these
folks. He might still be undefeated if he had Malignaggi's
        defensive skill.

Joshua will be remembered similarly to Lucian Bute, who
was also popular & undefeated until he left his own
backyard. At least Bute was beaten by Froch, a fighter
held in high regard. Joshua was beaten by a major
underdog who was the butt of jokes.
I can understand why that's hard for you to accept,
but you should try to show as much class as Joshua has.
Joshua is behaving like a gentleman while his fans are
          having tantrums.

OHHHHHH MYYYYY AGAINNNN! Leave him alone now...

Most of his fans are drunken, clueless, naive, gullible brits. Eddie Hearn who should be annointed as the " king of snake oil salesmen" pulled the wool over their eyes. This has happened before with Frank Bruno. The brits are so desperate for champions that even a chump like Joshua can fit the bill. It's one thing to lose and another to be exposed. The brits claim that A.J can come back! How? A heart and chin transplant. The paper tiger is done!

So many changes AJ has to do in less than 9 months!

Ruiz turned so many people into a fan and has become a star!
I just hope he loses 20-25lbs before the rematch. Although, I am not holding my breath. I bet Bob Arum is kicking himself for letting him go.

Why hate on the bum, Bute, the greatest Canadian boxer ever as a Canadian, lol? Carl fu.cking Froch, the robotic human punching bag? Apart from his granite chin, Froch was a farmer with limited boxing skills.

Josh is already the 2nd most decorated British boxer ever and his career isn't over yet. Maligniggi isn't even the 10th best boxer to ever come out of Brooklyn. Never beat anyone and he was just one level above being a journeyman. Get that pillow fisted bum out of here, lol.

Ruiz does have fast hands for a guy his size. Alot faster than Breazeale and Kownacki

In my view, Joshua actually improved his stature in defeat.
Not because of his in-ring performance, obviously, but
because of his gracious way of handling defeat.
I knew his defense & movement was mediocre, so I
expected him to lose sooner or later, but I didn't expect
him to handle it as well as he has.
Now that I've been generous and complimented him,
I can agree with you. He's not going to reclaim his lofty
status. He's not going to suddenly start moving his head,
or improve his foot speed. He's not going stop lifting weight
like he's Tony Atlas. He is who he is. An offensively exciting
fighter with enough flaws that his next loss is always just
one-punch away. I can probably start to appreciate him
now that the veil has been lifted, and fans no longer have
false pretenses. I no longer have to argue that Joshua is
flawed because now he's actually proven it.
