Ruiz was had noticeable faster hands, better chin, and better boxing IQ. The best man won tonight.

Joshua was overconfident thinking he could steamroll Andy once he had him hurt / down. He went in with guns blaing and didn't realize that Ruiz has a tremendous chin and wasn't that hurt. Exchanging punches with a guy with faster hands who also has power was a big mistake.

Joshua better not take an immediate rematch because without greatly improving his game and stamina, it will likely end up the same or worse for him in the rematch.

If Joshua had fought Wilder tonight, he would have been face first unconscious on the canvas.
