    No he didn’t because Crawford’s first fight was for a belt at welterweight. Spence has been chasing Thurman before his injuries. He was not interested in the likes of Mikey Garcia. His win against him was just a disciplining exercise . Nothing more. We just want our shot to rid Thurman of his ponytail so he can get back to his wife. However now he is talking about popularity contests and no contract was sent so he didn’t duck. Smh

            He did. Read this thread, someone has posted a video of Crawford's and Spence's conversation on the matter.

            He fought Garcia, no body forced him to.

            Needs to stop making excuses and fight Crawford.

            Thurman is fighting Pacquiao, if he wins he will have another fight in early 2020 and fight Spence next.


            What will Spence do it that time, apart from avoid Crawford.

              Can’t blame him for wanting a big ppv fight with Spence and wanting to get his profile up and wanting Spence to get his name up as well. He is the fighter, he does the training, he wants more money for his big fights, that’s on him. He is not the only guy who wants more money for his fights, literally every fighter does. He has a plan and is being honest. He says Pacquiao is just a fight to make him more popular and that Pac isn’t a top WW. I mean he’s being brutally honest rather than lying to the fans about he can fight anybody from 147 to 160 and that he’s being ducked by someone, etc. He’s just making things happen himself and fighting Pac is a good start to raise his popularity.

                  Thurman wants Spence Late 2020? He has a big problem coming July 20. Is he overlooking Pacquiao? He would be in a big shock of his life.

                  He's thinking he's a superstar, never been featured in a PPV of his own. He's in his first PPV because of Pacquiao.

                    Fight Porter and get the WBC crown. Ducking fighters due to needing a tune up should not be rewarded with a Pacquiao fight. It sends out the wrong message

                      Thurman has the best record at the weight.

                      Better than Spence and better than Crawford.

                      Are you saying you don't want to seen Spence fight Crawford?
