Wilder is making a big mistake not fighting Joshua now

With AJ's chin, he's eventually going to fight someone who's going to put him down for good. The signs on his chin are all there, 41 year old Wlad put him down pretty hard. Someone else is going to get that victory because Wilder is playing the marinating game. Happens all the time and this is Heavyweight, where one punch can change everything, even when facing a journeyman who seemingly doesn't stand a chance.

There's also a chance that Wilder, having a really great chin but poor boxing skills, can get outboxed himself by someone who's technically better than him and can take his monstrous punches (or can avoid them).

Wlad is one of the hardest punchers in boxing history. The fact he got up is a credit to him.

I agree with you Wilder is making a mistake, i just see it the other way. Wilder is 4 years older than Joshua. Joshua is seen like more conservative fighter, I think his style ages better.

Guys that are top 10 right now, except Fury and Wilder, can`t beat Joshua. I don`t think so. They lack power ( Parker), courage ( Whyte, Kownacki), or they are simple cheaters ( Miller) or too old ( Povetkin, Ortiz) or too small ( Ruiz jr, Rivas).

Wilder and Fury are the only possible threats for Joshua, that`s the way I see it.

But he couldn't do anything to Fury...

Wilder almost lost in two of his fights. It is a matter of time that he will get outboxed decisively. AJ gets buzzed a lot so that is another problem.

Both guys should get it on. This is the biggest fight that can be made in boxing.

Wilder and Joshua's chins are about the same. Joshua's is more tested. Yes, he was down vs Klitschko but that straight right hand would flatten every HW, Wilder included. It was a monster punch.

Ortiz had Wilder on a ***** street and he doesn't hit nearly as hard as Klitschko. Not to mention the extra time to recover he got in the following round. Or the fact that Wilder has been down 2 times already in his career.

Joshua put Wlad down. Joshua rushes to get the KO gets caught a few times and is on shaky legs at the end of the round.

He is running on low still hasn't cleared his head and Wlad box's well and puts him down.

Joshua gets up, on shaky legs, but it keeps defensive, keeps his guard up and survives.

The knockdown didn't just happen nor was his survival

You have a very superficial view of boxing.

AJ is Wilder's cash out fight. He'll hold out for the highest purse.

If anyone is likely to lose first it's Wilder. He can't actually box and he was damn lucky to get a draw against Fury. Ortiz had him on ***** street and AJ would definitely smash Ortiz.

Wilder is 33, he hasn't got that much longer left in the game so he should take it earlier rather than later.

Kownacki lacks courage ? Don't think so. He simply knows that it is much better for him to fight against Wilder than agaist Joshua or Fury nowadays. But I can assure you that if he got chance from AJ to fight, he will and would bring AJ lots of trouble even now.
