The difference between them three is as follows.
Canelo lost to the best in the last 20 years, Loma lost to a glorify, and gutsy average guy on Salido, Crawford, has never fought no one of the caliber of Floyd or as a matter fact the caliber of a Salido in terms of guts and glory.
Canelo has fought more legit world champs than any of these 2, Except Linares who they forget to mentioned here was on the decline ala Cotto, or ala Khan?
Listen if Canelo's birth certificate would say born in the USA I guarantee everyone here, he would be right now the 1pound for pound. I hate to play the racial issue here, but facts are facts, America prefers Russians and any other race than to give the credit due to a Mexican fighter? I lived it with JC Superstar!

Excuses, Salido was a problem to Loma, he landed good shots all night
Lomachenko said that the fight against salido was the hardest of his whole career
Also try listening to Kermit Cintron explain how, when developing as a boxer, moving from 6 round fights to 8 round fights is a huge adjustment. Loma went in at 12 and learned pacing for 12 straight out the gate. Sure he could have gone the route if 10 cab drivers (which would give you something different to hate on), but he didn't.
You sound like a menstrating 13 year-old withall your beyatching about Loma - why do you even bother with boxing if its finest performers trouble you so much ? Canelo and Loma are great to watch as they both exhibit sublime skills - but why you got to crip on one to appreciate the other. As for whatever idiot suggested Loma going down meant anything, just a reminder that Henry Cooper floored one Cassius Clay once uoon a time - means nothing unless you stay down and never get up again.

This debate is very difficult, especially if we're only going to use the "eye-test." However Canelo has passed more "real" tests than Lomachenko, and most definitely Crawford! Crawford has not beaten anyone who was ranked in the P4P Top 10 when he fought them! Even Loma did that with GRJ and Rigo! If Crawford had beaten Pacquiao and Mikey when they were with Top Rank, we would be having a different conversation! But that never happened!
Canelo's resume is actually better than Floyd and Manny! If we're using the "eye-test" Loma is 1a, and Crawford 1b! But if we're judging by "real" tests, then Canelo is #1, even though his reputation is "tainted!"Last edited by Bronx2245; 05-11-2019, 08:55 AM.

Holy shyt was bias piece of shyt article. So Loma is dominating every time he fights...oh except for the fact that he got his azzz whooped by salido who at the time was not a elite fighter or anywhere near any P4P rankings...oh and the time he got dropped and struggled with Linares who got dominated and knocked the phuk out in 1 round to s journey man after he fought Loma and oh and struggled with Pedraza who was already dominated and knocked out by Tank. Meanwhile canelo beat every fighter he faced, much higher caliber of elite fighters and only lose was to the undisputed#1 P4P fighter and probably the best fighter period of the last 3 decades. But since he fights top dog after top dog and isn't blowing the elite of the elite out every time other fighters who puzzy out and don't fight the best should be ranked higher? What kind of nonsense is that??
This is like saying the New England Patriots are not the best are not great because yeah yeah they keep winning Superbowls more then anyone else they are in the Superbowl every time but look at the scores they didn't blow anyone out the scores were all close and even though they won more then anyone in history they did lose a couple....you right the Patriots should of just won 1 Superbowl against a hand picked team so they could dominate that game then never tried to go back to another super bowl again so they don't look bad or risk losing that is much better then going to the super bowl time after time against the very best and still keep winning them.
This is why boxing is not as respected because you got bs like this and writers with clear agenda. Shyt like this is why writers actually refused to vote Floyd for fighter of last decade and he was phuking undefeated with the best resume in boxing now canelo best resume and still they finding bs to refuse to even rank him P4P #1 lolLast edited by bigdunny1; 05-11-2019, 09:03 AM.

that is the exact same argument I used in last months (and pretty much every month before) P4P list
Michael is saying exactly what I said in last months P4P update
he is 100% correct, I would rank Crawford and Lomachenko ahead of my boy Canelo
At lightweight, speed and timing are your dominant traits. Your weaknesses are fighters who are durable and strong who don't fall for the okie doke.
At 154 and up, power and/or defense are your dominant traits. Your weaknesses are fighters that can time you and are faster than you.
When is the only time Canelo Alvarez has been even near beaten? When he got timed.
At 160, neither Loma or Crawford has the timing or speed to connect on Canelo.
