This is one side, now let's hear the other! I think either way, Ortiz is the one who lost, b/c obviously Jiminez did not tell Ortiz what was going on!

Hearn is just trying to Shame Ortiz because Joshua's American debut has become a circus. Lmao. What a miserable bitter Pr*ck.

Wasn’t it the promoter rather than Ortiz himself? I do t see why Ortiz even needs a promoter...he generally fights under the PBC banner....no need to give a promoter that sort of power over your career

Where was Haymon's name mentioned in the article? And Ruiz, a Haymon fighter, is who is taking the fight now so kill your nonsense

Poor Ortiz thought he was being offered $6M Pesos.

I’ve heard a few people saying Ortiz and co. are too juiced up to accept this fight at short notice.

At this point it makes sense for him to sue his promoter for what they cost him

When is the email presser? Thats what I wanna see. That should be interesting & really show who knew what & maybe who's fault it really was Joshua vs Ortiz didn't get made, The promoter, the manager or Ortiz himself or hell even Haymon.

To me I feel like the promoter was probably most at fault cuz he's the main guy Hearn had to deal with & who seems to have a volatile, combative relationship with Hearn from the time Ortiz was with Matchroom. And I feel like the manager Jay isn't a guy who is very fond of Hearn either based on a couple videos I saw on YT of him discussing previous potential deals. And I kinda feel like maybe Ortiz was sold a story that he was getting $5M (with the promoter taking $2M off the top) BUT we think we can get a lil more that Ortiz went along with. Thats assuming Ortiz's manager was a part of the talks like Hearn is saying. Or if thats not the story then Ortiz's manager is even against Ortiz here which might be the case. Either way I tend to doubt Ortiz was the guy leading the charge here in anyway cuz for w/e you think of Ortiz I think even the $5M offer I believe he thought he was getting woulda been a huge plus for him with his daughters issues & not ultimately turndownable even if he thought he could squeeze a lil more outta it based on the opinion of the guys handling his business (that aren't maybe looking out for Ortiz as much as themselves). But I guess we'll see.

I definitely dont see Haymon's hands in this cuz afterall Ruiz is also a guy affiliated with Haymon & it don't make much sense to f#ck up your own money, assuming Ortiz even is a legit client of Haymon's which I've not seen anything to believe that is the case he merely has an agreement with PBC not unlike Manny whos also not advised by Haymon to the best of my understanding.
