    Thoughts on Vargas

Keep in mind I have not watch either of the two Mosley/Vargas fights.

However, from what I have read here some of you thought that Vargas was staging a comeback in the first fight prior to the stoppage.

Some of you even thought he was winning on points.

You also thought he'd win the rematch and some of you seemed EXTREMELY sure of it.

So, since Vargas lost and from what I heard, he was soundly beaten.

    What do you think happened?

Why was Vargas taken out so easily in this match as opposed to the first match?

Why wasn't he able to go the distance and win some rounds against Mosley?

What do you think of him as a fighter now and what do you think he should do next?

Damn as I have posted in the other thread I knew Vargas is going to lose but i have never expected it to be so easy for Mosley.
****, Vargas never won a single round.

Why? Because Mosley got his number and he just doesn't have it anymore.

I do not like it at all that vargas lost like that. I had mosley to win the fight by three rounds not to stop him. I have never like varges but he was an impotant fighter and now he is done. It sucks in a a way.

All of your questions can be answered with one very basic, and true statement:

Mosley is simply a better fighter than Vargas.

Also, people are still in love with the Vargas of old. They think he'll come out of the gates and have the same power he had when he was juicing and somehow get these monster shots in on Shane. Simply didn't happn, nor would it happen ever most likely.

Vargas will be remembered for talking up a good one, then getting floored the next day. He was always overrated, he should have lost to ****in winky wright but they gave it to the young up and comer. His wins over Catillejo and Quartey as well as Campas are his best wins, and none of those names are hardly legendary. If he didint have a huge mexican fanbase, he wouldnt be ****,seriously, i dont know anyone who isnt mexican who actually likes him. Even the mexicans in my family dont like him, so maybe the mexicans who do like him are in LA. Who knows.

Vargas should give Javier Castillejo a rematch and try to take the belts that he just got from Sturm away.

Mosley looked to be in totally different class than Vargas.
Vargas needs a fight to showcase if he still has skills and power. Fight Ishe Smith or someone to test if he can still fight.

Even the mexicans in your family?...something tells me the mexicans in your family are wannabe whatever race you are...they are scumbags who don't have pride in their own race...just like your family who looks for other races to better themselves
